what's the struggle with your bang fic? maybe talking it out will help!
Ah, it's mostly the usual stuff, you know. I keep spending my time with overthinking everything instead of just writing or hating on what I've written 😂😭 Then I'll get distracted with other ideas, I'm tempted to work on instead. (And then I end up doing just that.) The deadline is closing in and I'm not even half-done but I'm so done with it lol I really should stop clowning around but it's hard 😔 I just hope I can get to the art part in time haha If I'm lucky I just need one more chapter...
And well, maybe it's also difficult for me because English isn't my mother tongue so occasionally I need to look up a word but then it isn't quite what I'm looking for. My motivation has also reached a slump and I'm worried no one will like my fic >.< Ultimately, I probably overcomplicate things but I don't know how to change that 🙈 sorry if this has become a vent 😅 But thanks for asking!
Meow meow the same random curious kitten here hehe 🐱 i know this might be a weird and random place to reply but it is what it is! Mhmm yes the nanny au! That was an interesting kaeluc flavor 😋 im reading bit by bit the kaeluc body swap au i think it's the reconciliation you meant? I figured body swaps would be funny 🤭 oooh more fics otw! Getting distracted with more ideas? Great! I'll wait patiently for your fics!! :3 thanks again for indulging me chatting with a stray kitten here >w< goodluck writing so u can feed this hungry kitten with kaeluc fics~ nya nya nya!
Meow~ this isn't weird at all xD unless there are any rules about how to use retrospring? 😂 In any case, I don't mind hehe
Ah, glad you enjoyed then xD Ohhh, that's nice! Hope you like it too. And yes the body swap is one of them—I think I wrote four reconciliation fics in total lol
Aww, that's really sweet of you! Thanks! Nya nya 😸
Hehe thanks for replying with lengthy words owo just shows that youre a writer 🤭 ideas coming through daydreaming and such.. i can kinda relate to that! And that 'throwing everything into a pot and just stirring' is giving me prof. X putting 'sugar, spice and everything nice' and accidentally making a masterpiece xD i like chatting up randomly sometimes and i've read some of ur fics the very lengthy one if you know 🙈 it's fun and i hope you'll write more to your heart's content and you have a nice day too! 🫶 oh and meow~ 🐱💕
Haha right xD Ah, daydreaming can be so nice... and lol prof. X vibes are spot on! Oh, please chat me up randomly whenever—that's lovely (◠‿・)—☆
I assume you mean the Nanny AU I wrote with Realm? That was a fun one xD so glad you enjoyed ❤️ thank you! I'm currently drowning in wips— and while I should be working on my bang fic, I'm getting distracted with other ideas and end up writing them instead... but I'm making progress! Haha nya nya~ ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
How do u get inspirations to write a fic? I think in game stories are one of it but other than that how do you develop(?) your stories more? I'm just curious! Like do u read fantasy novels or romances or do you watch shows or does even music inspire you to write? Hehe sorry for the questions im just curious and amazed how writers - u know - write and do their thing well!
I also would like to know where inspiration comes from tbh 🤡 Most of the time ideas hit me seemingly out of nowhere o.o
Although, I do a lot of daydreaming so that might help prepare the ground 😋
Now, of course, there are a lot of other factors. The most important one might be that in fics I can explore anything canon won't ever touch. And I get desperate to find out how a certain what-if scenario would unfold. When canon won't give me what I crave, long for I have to make it myself, right? Otherwise, I might go insane 🙈
My Kaeluc reconciliation fics are a great example of that, I think. I'm still praying hoyo will give it to us one day 😭
Also, I'm just a sucker for romance so I need to see my blorbos getting together and being lovey-dovey with each other. You could say, I throw my favorite tropes into a pot, stir, shake and kick it, hoping something good comes out of it 😂
And sure when I was younger I read a lot of especially fantasy novels and occasionally romances too. (Of course, I grew up soaked with Disney classics haha).
My uni friend dragged me into yaoi hell and later, I stumbled into the danmei novels hole and haven't crawled out of it yet. Also, I’m a huge anime fan, the genre almost doesn't matter as long as it's interesting.
Music is definitely inspiring too. Incidentally, my last Wriolette fic was born due to Fujii Kaze’s Workin’ Hard song xD
Now about how I develop my stories, that's a tough one. Most of the time I go with the flow so to speak. I'm pretty much of a panster. But for longer stories I do use outlines (only to not follow it completely in the end orz).
I never have a really clear picture of the whole thing. Sometimes it's just a scene I really need to see happen. Thankfully, the characters often “help” me figure the rest out.
And for the love of my life, I can't write in a linear way. It's like a puzzle or patchwork, I have to piece together. Like I’ve written a few paragraphs only to realize later one of them belongs somewhere in the next chapter. My brain is weird like that 🥴
Ultimately, stories work like a catalyst for our underlying feelings and I'm addicted to the rush of emotions a good story manages to deliver. That's what I hope to achieve whenever I cook something up.
Please, don't apologize for asking questions haha I'm here for this and I love to answer them xD Writing is a fascinating journey (tortuous at times lol), I hope this gave you a glimpse of my process. Actually, I could go on and on about it, but I don't want to talk your ears off 😅 So thanks for asking and take care ❤️
Thank you so much for answering! I do think trauma in regards to sharing, creating stories, is super real and valid. I'm super glad you had a friend who was able to lift your eyes open and see the potential inside! I thoroughly enjoy your beautiful stories, along with your co-writer. I'm thankful for the escape you provide to us readers. And 3 years! That's still a long stretch! But yes, I can only imagine how you'll write in 5 years or more! Either way, hope you'll keep us in the loop for all future work, kind writer! I also started off on fanfiction net around 12 years ago before dropping writing. I'm glad we both found a reason to return. And it's genshin that did it! yay! thank you for answering again and giving me a little insight, since I love your works! <3
Awww you're too sweet dear anon!
Yes, I'm grateful to my friend too. Only wish now I had started sooner haha but better later than never xD
Asjdjjdhdjs makes me so happy to know our stories are there to provide comfort to you 💕
I really hope and want to improve my writing! Of course, I can't wait to share more stories in the future as well as completing the on-going ones!
Oh, welcome back to the writing world then! That's so cool. Genshin doing miracle work here yay~
You're too kind and making me blush ( ꈍᴗꈍ) Take care nya~
you always write so awesomely! what first got you into writing? or was it always a thing you've always done?
Omg thank you!! (≧▽≦)
Oh, great questions! Let's see... I always admired writers in general and later when I got into fandoms fanfic writers especially because they give us this wonderful place to escape reality with the characters we love so much.
Secretly, I wanted to do the same but never had the courage to write anything because I simply didn't have any ideas. Or that's what I told myself since, in truth, I was afraid to embarrass myself haha
(Also, I had some pretty mean teachers in school who told me I wrote horribly and that stuck with me for a very long time.)
Then I made a friend in uni and I explained them about my writing trauma/aspiration. They looked at me confused and said: if you wanna write just do it. That was one of the pushes I needed. Of course, I didn't believe it at first. It took some internal struggling but at the glorious age of 20+ I wrote my first fic. It's somewhere lost on FanfictionNet now haha but after that, I haven't written much until Genshin pushed me down a rabbit hole and I'm still falling. That is to say I'm writing more focused about three years now. So, I guess you could say I'm still pretty new to writing xD
