How do u get inspirations to write a fic? I think in game stories are one of it but other than that how do you develop(?) your stories more? I'm just curious! Like do u read fantasy novels or romances or do you watch shows or does even music inspire you to write? Hehe sorry for the questions im just curious and amazed how writers - u know - write and do their thing well!

I also would like to know where inspiration comes from tbh 🤡 Most of the time ideas hit me seemingly out of nowhere o.o
Although, I do a lot of daydreaming so that might help prepare the ground 😋

Now, of course, there are a lot of other factors. The most important one might be that in fics I can explore anything canon won't ever touch. And I get desperate to find out how a certain what-if scenario would unfold. When canon won't give me what I crave, long for I have to make it myself, right? Otherwise, I might go insane 🙈
My Kaeluc reconciliation fics are a great example of that, I think. I'm still praying hoyo will give it to us one day 😭

Also, I'm just a sucker for romance so I need to see my blorbos getting together and being lovey-dovey with each other. You could say, I throw my favorite tropes into a pot, stir, shake and kick it, hoping something good comes out of it 😂

And sure when I was younger I read a lot of especially fantasy novels and occasionally romances too. (Of course, I grew up soaked with Disney classics haha).
My uni friend dragged me into yaoi hell and later, I stumbled into the danmei novels hole and haven't crawled out of it yet. Also, I’m a huge anime fan, the genre almost doesn't matter as long as it's interesting.

Music is definitely inspiring too. Incidentally, my last Wriolette fic was born due to Fujii Kaze’s Workin’ Hard song xD

Now about how I develop my stories, that's a tough one. Most of the time I go with the flow so to speak. I'm pretty much of a panster. But for longer stories I do use outlines (only to not follow it completely in the end orz).
I never have a really clear picture of the whole thing. Sometimes it's just a scene I really need to see happen. Thankfully, the characters often “help” me figure the rest out.
And for the love of my life, I can't write in a linear way. It's like a puzzle or patchwork, I have to piece together. Like I’ve written a few paragraphs only to realize later one of them belongs somewhere in the next chapter. My brain is weird like that 🥴

Ultimately, stories work like a catalyst for our underlying feelings and I'm addicted to the rush of emotions a good story manages to deliver. That's what I hope to achieve whenever I cook something up.

Please, don't apologize for asking questions haha I'm here for this and I love to answer them xD Writing is a fascinating journey (tortuous at times lol), I hope this gave you a glimpse of my process. Actually, I could go on and on about it, but I don't want to talk your ears off 😅 So thanks for asking and take care ❤️
