their first kiss was in bellchime trail! it'd been a while since they last saw each other in person but cerise decided to visit ecruteak again to offer support/comfort morty after ho-oh chose a worthy trainer(wasn't morty YET lol).
They decided to visit the trail and started reminiscing on their first meeting when they were teens, at that time it was Morty offering Cerise comfort! Cerise finally returning the favor! 💕 they talked til sunset and maybe Cerise cried a couple times (she's just like that, she's so me) but they were happy tears this time!! Cerise may have let it slip that she had feeling for him but it was definitely Morty that directly confessed and caught her off guard by it. It was a nervous first kiss but very much long awaited. They burst out laughing right after and knowing Cerise she started crying again 😂 it's ok tho, morty just held her and pet her head lol
