Opinions on Kierans character development
It's pokemon so I can't be like "omg this is a masterpiece of a character!" but Kieran hits home for me in a lot of ways, the meek loneliness and inadequacy turning into aggression. His obsession with becoming better. I think it's at least a very real portrayal of a teen wanting so badly to be seen. Or maybe I'm looking too deep into it lmaooo
Idk I personally would've done things differently in the second half of the Indigo Disk but overall I think nervous little guy turning into aggressive little guy in an effort to be seen as worth something is a fun trope and I hope Pokemon Masters gives us a little more closure than the end of Indigo Disk did. (cause I think he deserved better than "you're not the protagonist doesnt matter sorry")

Hey Ceri I've been a long time follower of yours and made this account just to send you a question. Maybe I dont understand it but it makes me uncomfortable that you're shipping with a minor even if you're using Ko it really still feels self inserty with some of the art you're RTing of him.
I understand! I can assure its nothing but innocent stuff, at least I hope I haven't rt'd anything worrying about him but do let me know if I ever have/do, hard to tell what accs post what.
I've always liked playing with my ocs and canon characters but I'd never cross the line past silly teen romance with minor characters. I also don't ship any self inserts with minors. I can see how it looks self inserty but I only ship myself with Morty. I guess since Ko looks like Ceri it looks self inserty, I get it. A lot of Ko's development revolves around SWSH and Indigo Disk and thats what I'm most interested in anyway, I don't mind if Kieran's shipped with the protag, or Amarys, or others minor ocs.
I adoooore Kieran's character and I assure you it's purely platonic on my part, I just think playing with different dynamics with my ocs is fun! But if it makes you uncomfy I don't mind if you unfollow or block but I genuinely believe I'm not doing anything malicious by making my kid ocs play with the canon kids. To me it's like writing a coming of age story. Pray to god I don't come off as a freak though gshhdjd swear to you my heart is for Morty only!

Nooo i use to have that hair style too so she's just based on that since she's a super old self insert turned more oc (as usual for me,,). She's more so inspired by Satanick and Lil from funamusea with satanicks black hair + horns and lil's bat wings styled into her hair. Thank you thooo! She's pretty old of an oc i don't dye my hair black or have blunt bangs anymore lol :'3

I use the default g-pen, chalk, and transparent watercolor brushes a lot! Chalk is what i mainly use for sketches.
At the moment though my absolute favorite brush is Flashito! I'll leave a link in the comments!! This is a hard square brush i like to use on my quick personal art. I like how easy it is to make dynamic line art and the slight color shifts are fun to play with.

Ceri 100% loves karaoke even though she is not the best at it LMAO, she just loves singing for the hell of it. Morty's a little more shy about it but he'd actually have a decent singing voice.
Their first time going together(one of those private booths/rooms not like a public bar) and Morty's thinking she's going to play some cute pop songs and dance around but Ceri just starts screaming death metal 😭😭 (she was retsuko before retsuko existed ok i did it first 💅) Morty's like jfc what the fuck??
Morty would sing softer popular songs cause he doesn't know a lot of them. After a while he learns more songs with Ceri and they scream sing duets together 😂😂
Cerise listens to everything though and would play more pop/fun songs for him too 🥺

what are ceri and mortis love languages
cerise is the quality time and words of affirmation type! quality over quantity though, shes not always asking to be around morti but she appreciates it when he makes it a point to spend time with her. words of affirmation is also pretty important as she's quick to pick up on changes, so morti reassuring her makes her feel better. ♥️
Mortis are words of affirmation and acts of service. For him words of encouragement mean the most, he does his best to affirm others and having the mutual support from ceri drives him forward! he spends a lot of time training and doing his gym leader duties so ceri taking on chores or recognizing his schedule means a lot. ceri loves bringing him lunch as well and he enjoys it! 🥰💜

That last question about Kalos showcases was good, so I have to ask, which one would Ceri ultimately prefer: Kalos Showcases or Pokemon Contests?
Showcases for sure, given that contests focus more on being appealing during a battle which isn't her strong suit. Showcases having different themes would also keep her interested for the next event. her appeal would go farther with showcases large scale audience voting system too, she has a way of charming people i think lol
Thats not to say she wouldn't try contests though!! it'd be interesting to see her battle while also trying to make it pretty!! It's definitely a step up from normal battles for her.

their first kiss was in bellchime trail! it'd been a while since they last saw each other in person but cerise decided to visit ecruteak again to offer support/comfort morty after ho-oh chose a worthy trainer(wasn't morty YET lol).
They decided to visit the trail and started reminiscing on their first meeting when they were teens, at that time it was Morty offering Cerise comfort! Cerise finally returning the favor! 💕 they talked til sunset and maybe Cerise cried a couple times (she's just like that, she's so me) but they were happy tears this time!! Cerise may have let it slip that she had feeling for him but it was definitely Morty that directly confessed and caught her off guard by it. It was a nervous first kiss but very much long awaited. They burst out laughing right after and knowing Cerise she started crying again 😂 it's ok tho, morty just held her and pet her head lol

What is one of Ceri’s favorite things to cook?
Simple stir fry recipes are usually her go to, lots of different options for whatever she's in the mood for! :3 noodle/rice, vegetable, beef/chicken/pork, many variety just throw them all together lmao. She also loooves glazed salmon over rice dishes, maple glaze and mirin glaze are her faves!!

hewwoo!! i do post drawings to toyhouse but writing out details about my ocs has always been a struggle for me lol along with just being a bit shy about people reading what i write! 🥺 My TH is bakeccha but its mostly art!
it'd be a nice project for me to work on though at least for cerise since she's obviously my main focus. i've been wanting to flesh out Ko and Fujie too!
