AAAAUGH THE LORE DROPS IN EVENTS ARE SUCH A PAAAAIN oh my god. like it would be one thing if they actually let us go back and revisit/replay old events (every day i'm so mad i missed a bunch of the inazuma events,, Labyrinth Warriors,,, the Albedo/Dragonspine event.... the Irodori Festival....) but because everything just dies once it's run its course there's so much lore i've missed out and i have to go watch cutscenes for WHICH ISN'T THE SAAAAME. even the events i was there to play what if i wanna go back? revisit them? is that a crime?? like it's one thing to sneak character tidbits into events (childe being a dancer... hagoaugh.... itto having a special drink made bc of his bean allergy... GUOBA AND ZHONGLI BEING BUDDIES......) but my god why are like. HUGE GROUND BREAKING LORE DROPS TEMPORARY EVENT ONLY.. never will i get to experience scara's first on-screen moment,, like why are u punishing players for not being there day 1 to experience every single thing.. i feel like bc i missed the big event with albedo i'm a) never gonna know as much hexenzirkel lore as i could know but also b) i'm never gonna connect to albedo the way i wish i could. they should've done what Obey Me! did where you could get tickets to play past events and get all the rewards from them.

scara and durin's story was so cute and it made me cry but ahagouagouhhhh albedo deserved to be there. albedo deserves to get to see baby durin..

i kept hearing so much about an upcoming dragonspine/albedo event and my god i'm holding out hope for it. i think with Dahlia upcoming i really really hope we'll get to go back to Mondstadt for an expansion,,

GOD LITERALLY like i think that's why i don't utterly despise paimon bc in my head exists early paimon where she's a sweet little baby and she's the traveler's guide and best friend... now she's just sort of this thing following us around making weird lowkey racist comments or being the catalyst for random fat jokes. like ur kidding me this is the travelers best friend but she's also got a blatant connection to celestia that may or may not be eluding to the traveler having to make hard choices about trusting paimon or not.... but nowadays all she is is this little thing following us around and all she ever cares about is food and money and not only does she constantly speak for/over the traveler but she says the most annoying things possible. please god just let the traveler speak for themselves i get the dialogue options are us talking but even then why does paimon get like 300 lines per the traveler's 5. silent protagonists are fine but can our mouthpiece at least be bearable,,

like i still like the heartwarming moments where she panics when she gets separated from the traveler and they hug it out that's really sweet to me but it only takes me about five minutes before i'm just annoyed by her again bc what i want is early/voiceline paimon where her and the traveler are shown to be best friends rather than it just being stated in dialogue twenty times per cutscene. like no no guys trust us aether and paimon are like suuuuper close besties. like the closest bestest friends ever. source: dude just trust us.

i've always appreciated that lumine and aether aren't just blank self insert canvases like they do clearly have their own personalities when you actually sit down and read things... the problem is genshin rarely puts it up front and center like they should. we maybe get the occasional dialogue option where the traveler is a goof or the directions that a quest goes might hint @ something about them but overall they do really just..... stand there. while paimon talks. why must i click through a menu to get to know the protagonists when genshin's entire storyline hinges on human connection and socializing. like i don't mind when aether says things that i wouldn't say during dialogue bc he's his own character, and it's fun to see him get annoyed or short tempered but my god sometimes the jokes or his reactions do get really mean spirited :(

and ohhhh my god yeah. early game cutscenes are almost shocking when paimon talks bc like... yeah she's got the cutesy voice going on but she's not like,, shrieking all the time..... like no hate to the VA of course if anything i wish the directors told them to reel it in sometimes because they did do a great job with early paimon where she was a lot sweeter and more chilled out

Honestly I get the feeling Paimon tires me out so much… like 20% of the time I’m like omg…. A baby….. that’s my little baby…. But then the rest of the time I wish I could punt her like a football bc she makes some pointless remark or her jokes are just micro aggressions. If I hear her make fun of someone’s name one more time I’m gonna lose it
She’s so longer a helpful guide acting as a Suspicious Source of Knowledge she just floats around going “man idk what the fuck is going on” before a cutscene that goes PAIMON’S YOUR BEST FRIEND NEVER FORGET THAT!!! PAIMON FOREVER!!!! Like please I don’t want to spend Snezhnaya babysitting her it’s a treat when we get quests where Paimon stays behind

Genshin pls.. when was the last Big Lore moment for her…. It had to have been the melusine that described Paimon as having a string connecting her to celestia and the traveler as a monster that could swallow the world or something

cap's greatest skill truly is taking one look at men and recognizing the puppy in them. but also which type. childe is the excitable one with a biting habit that is just so cute and so fun and putting up with his high energy is so worth it bc once he calms down he's the cuddliest thing on earth.... ororon is more the timid curious type that gets a little nervous playing sometimes but is so clingy and will do anything for whoever it is he's gotten attached to. either way cap is so endeared to them both he has to physically stop himself from patting them on the tops of their heads out of the blue. if you catch him just standing and staring at the back of childe or ororon's heads there's like a 50% chance he's about to just start petting them and praising them for good behavior. (i bet the claws would feel sooooo good to get scratches behind the ears from)

AFTERCARE FOR DOMS MEANS THE WORLD TO MEEEE
like yeah a sub might need aftercare in terms of wound care or massaging to deal with muscles depending on what was done, on top of the psychological aspects of being beaten and roughed up.. but there's a large emotional aspect to domming that does get neglected. both dom space and sub space can be very draining to exit from and both parties deserve the focus during aftercare

i think neuvi is pretty susceptible to those feelings sometimes... it's not that he doesn't like being rough or doesn't get a bit of satisfaction out of leaving wrio with a few bruises but there can be a bit of lingering guilt after where he'll worry he's gone too far and he's had a time or two where he spiraled a bit and wriothesley had to chase him down to close a bit of distance to talk through it. worrying he got carried away in his own pleasure-- oh no, what if wriothesley didn't like it and i missed the singles while i was deriving too much of my own pleasure.... what if he'll never trust me again or things i'm a monster--
aftercare is a two way street.. when it comes to like zhongli and childe i imagine zhongli does a bit more of the work bc for him what helps him recover is a lot of the cuddling and pampering of childe bc seeing childe so happy and blissful gives him that boost of. oh i love him dearly and he loves me. he's the only person who can completely and utterly undo childe like that and he takes that as such an honour that he gets to bask in the effects of as he tucks childe into bed after.

neuvillette on the other hand needs just a bit more. so while he'll run a bath for wriothesley or help ice any bruises or make him tea, wriothesley will give a lot of vocal affirmation until neuvillette finally joins him back in bed to cuddle. tells him to take it easy because he did a good job, and wrio enjoyed it a lot and had fun. neuvillette trying to pamper wriothesley but he looks so tired so wriothesley will make neuvi join him in the bath or make him have some tea as well. neuvillette rubbing wriothesley's muscles after some bondage so wriothesley returns the favour by helping neuvillette ease his sore joints after, makes sure he has all the pillows he needs and let's neuvi get comfy in bed first before cuddling up with him. they've found a really nice routine where they both take care of each other pretty equally bc they both need it..... as much as wrio tells neuvillette "don't kill yourself worrying about me-- i can take it" he knows neuvi still needs some comfort and affirmations after to remind him that, no, he's not a cruel monster, he's a lover that listens that wriothesley deeply trusts and adores the company of. wriothesley's favourite thing after a scene is to get his own dose of aftercare then just pamper neuvi as much as he can.... it's kind of a rare chance to get to do that. so once he gets any pain managed and some energy back he'll spend as long as he can doting on neuvillette until he gets sick of him (having neuvi sit on some pillows on the floor... leaning back against the couch sitting between wrio's legs... wrio brushing his hair or rubbing his shoulders.... telling him all the things they did that night that he enjoyed....)
wrio has so many caring bones in his body of course he's gonna jump at the chance to take care of neuvi the second he knows it's needed!!!

HOUHHH.... god big strong wrio reduced to a mindless drooling little puppydog....... neuvi is usually very soft as a dom (not a pushover-- he can still deal a few bruises. but all the while he talks in such a sweet tone and dishes out some loving praise each step of the way..) but there's this little secret sadist side of him he hardly ever indulges in... not necessarily sadist in a "i want to hurt you" way more like... the desperate need to overwhelm wrio. to keep going when wrio babbles out that it's too much.... it takes several instances of wriothesley sitting him down to go "i can take it. you don't actually have to stop until i use the safe word." borderline begging neuvillette to just go all the way til he's ruined.... and god it's such a pretty sight when neuvi finally indulges. getting to actually hear wrio's voice crack and raise a few octaves. watching his tongue loll out as he drools. eyes unfocused and slow blinking as he can barely hold himself up..... wrio cumming dry and all that does is make neuvi want to keep going and going and going..... getting him to the point where when neuvi asks him to come over to him and wrio does it on all fours while whining-- nuzzling his face between neuvi's legs unprompted. the old, scarred guard-dog reduced to a needy and loving puppy. calling neuvi Daddy in such a sincere and adoring tone rather than with that hint of playfulness he usually does (wriothesley liked to sort of poke fun at the idea of being a 40 year old man calling another man 'daddy'. age gap but the young one is middle aged)

neuvillette gets more confident about going harder after that. leaving more bruises on wriothesley, being bossier. actually managing to train a few 'tricks' into wrio (he's great sitting and rolling over when ordered in the bedroom but neuvillette secretly trains wrio to subconsciously stand with straighter posture at the sound of neuvi's cane tapping the ground no matter where he is.... it always earns a look when wrio is talking to someone and at the first sound of neuvi entering the room wrio immediately fixes his posture without realizing..) and he gets to really indulge in covering wriothesley in marks and working him til he breaks. getting to enjoy such a sweet, ditzy, drooling puppydog..

a big part of why neuvi gets more confident with being mean in bed is wrio understands the aftercare he needs... yeah when his brain is mush it's a little harder to do bc he tends to pass out afterwards... but once he gets a few braincells back he nuzzles up to neuvi and gives him kisses and mumbles sweet little 'thank you's to neuvi and let's him know he loved it. neuvi getting his own praise from wrio telling him he did such a good job and he's a good daddy and wrio loves him.. typically wriothesley offers neuvi a nice massage after a scene while they cuddle but when he's too dazed to lift his head that much neuvi appreciates the softer loving and the reassurance that he didn't hurt wrio too bad.

For real though DMMD is one of those things where I /know/ I’m gonna be elbow deep in some Problem Content but. Ough. I’ll just brace myself and dive in. For years I’ve been wanting to replay it just for Koujaku (I missed Clear too,,) and I finally just got around to it and RAHHHHHH KOUJAKU AND AOBA I LOVE YOUUUU
I always make the mistake of playing Koujaku’s route first… makes it so hard to go play the others. Like wdym I have to go through a childhood friends to lovers plot where Koujaku admits he’s always loved aoba and then after that just play the others where aoba romances men he Just Met. Like am I not supposed to assume Koujaku still has those feelings and he’s just sitting and watching aoba slip away from him. ITS SO HAAAAARD
Koujaku the way u are such a dork around aoba… flirting with women effortlessly but one twink just knocks u on ur ass…. Getting to give aoba his first haircut and saving the clippings to cherish… taking hours to do it even with aoba constantly re-iterating that he’s okay and it doesn’t hurt…. Koujaku the man that you are….

the fortress has gotta be one of those places that it takes awhile to get comfortable in. it's somehow constantly always slightly too hot, and slightly too cold. and humid. but you sort of learn to get used to it even when you're constantly covered in a layer of sweat-- both from the temperature and the hard work

wriothesley is not immune to this even with how long he's been down there.. he's constantly on the move doing physical work, and he runs warm so even sitting at his desk dressed in all of his layers makes him sweat... so he constantly has a bit of a musky smell to him. maybe a bit like a warm cup of earl gray tea.... (mmm... a london fog perhaps... that would be a good cologne smell for him)
i feel like he'd smell a bit like cigarettes too. and that specific smell that comes with working on a car. metal mixed with certain oils and grease. he just sort of smells entirely like the fortress. somehow a very comforting smell even when he's got the slightest hint of a dingey basement stink to him after a hard day of work. really makes him blend in when he's down in the fortress but when he comes topside and you get close enough to him he stands out a bit from the typical fontaine perfumes that permeate the air (he does his best to make sure he doesn't smell entirely unpleasant it really is just a scent that sticks out a lot when you spend all day surrounded by more floral and woody scents)

his balls and pits get so sweaty and schmelly that when he gets undressed you get a solid whiff of them both even when standing a bit away from him. toss him a rag so he can dry off a bit (personally i'd use my tongue + face)
