AFTERCARE FOR DOMS MEANS THE WORLD TO MEEEE
like yeah a sub might need aftercare in terms of wound care or massaging to deal with muscles depending on what was done, on top of the psychological aspects of being beaten and roughed up.. but there's a large emotional aspect to domming that does get neglected. both dom space and sub space can be very draining to exit from and both parties deserve the focus during aftercare

i think neuvi is pretty susceptible to those feelings sometimes... it's not that he doesn't like being rough or doesn't get a bit of satisfaction out of leaving wrio with a few bruises but there can be a bit of lingering guilt after where he'll worry he's gone too far and he's had a time or two where he spiraled a bit and wriothesley had to chase him down to close a bit of distance to talk through it. worrying he got carried away in his own pleasure-- oh no, what if wriothesley didn't like it and i missed the singles while i was deriving too much of my own pleasure.... what if he'll never trust me again or things i'm a monster--
aftercare is a two way street.. when it comes to like zhongli and childe i imagine zhongli does a bit more of the work bc for him what helps him recover is a lot of the cuddling and pampering of childe bc seeing childe so happy and blissful gives him that boost of. oh i love him dearly and he loves me. he's the only person who can completely and utterly undo childe like that and he takes that as such an honour that he gets to bask in the effects of as he tucks childe into bed after.

neuvillette on the other hand needs just a bit more. so while he'll run a bath for wriothesley or help ice any bruises or make him tea, wriothesley will give a lot of vocal affirmation until neuvillette finally joins him back in bed to cuddle. tells him to take it easy because he did a good job, and wrio enjoyed it a lot and had fun. neuvillette trying to pamper wriothesley but he looks so tired so wriothesley will make neuvi join him in the bath or make him have some tea as well. neuvillette rubbing wriothesley's muscles after some bondage so wriothesley returns the favour by helping neuvillette ease his sore joints after, makes sure he has all the pillows he needs and let's neuvi get comfy in bed first before cuddling up with him. they've found a really nice routine where they both take care of each other pretty equally bc they both need it..... as much as wrio tells neuvillette "don't kill yourself worrying about me-- i can take it" he knows neuvi still needs some comfort and affirmations after to remind him that, no, he's not a cruel monster, he's a lover that listens that wriothesley deeply trusts and adores the company of. wriothesley's favourite thing after a scene is to get his own dose of aftercare then just pamper neuvi as much as he can.... it's kind of a rare chance to get to do that. so once he gets any pain managed and some energy back he'll spend as long as he can doting on neuvillette until he gets sick of him (having neuvi sit on some pillows on the floor... leaning back against the couch sitting between wrio's legs... wrio brushing his hair or rubbing his shoulders.... telling him all the things they did that night that he enjoyed....)
wrio has so many caring bones in his body of course he's gonna jump at the chance to take care of neuvi the second he knows it's needed!!!
