What can you tell me about apocalypse?

it will not be a merciful process, but a slow and agonizing one, stretched out over generations. Earth will be dramatically changed--a mass extinction event, the great cities on the coastlines swept up by the ocean, plague and famine as we see less and less arable land, constant war as empires collapse and desperately try to cling to power. we'll curse g-d for not getting it over with all at once, dragging us through it day by day, but we will hurt more than anything knowing that it is entirely our own doing, and there is no one to blame but ourselves. we will not be wiped out entirely, we're just too resilient for that. a new era will follow our collapse, new cultures, new religions will be born from the suffering we cause and experience, and remember us in the lines of song and myth--the ancients, who destroyed the world.
