hii! I hope you're having a good day! I was wondering why do you like xiaoaether so much? they look really cute together but I was wondering what exactly about their dynamic makes you like them! I've been poking into genshin more and I saw that you ship them and I was just curious :}
hello! you have no idea how excited i am about this ask omg. okay so, beware: long reply.
i started shipping xiaoaether when i did the chasm quest, and just how they interacted in the quest made me feel butterflies. also, during the liyue archon quest where aether fell and xiao came to his rescue. and also, when aether made xiao’s favorite food and the wangshu inn manager said “i’ve never seen xiao smile till you” or something along those lines. i just fell deep from there tbh.
i personally love their dynamics where you have “stoic” xiao and sunshine aether. it’s been made known in genshin that xiao is this soldier who’d die for liyue and he’s all serious, but he goes to aether and he just.. becomes softer. he asked aether to be with him during lantern rite, because he wanted to release the lanterns together. KILL ME? xiao saying “whenever you need me, just call my name.” AND WHENEVER AETHER DOES, XIAO ALWAYS ANSWERS. i’m gonna combust. so yeah, i love how tender and soft xiao is whenever it comes to aether when he’s usually portrayed as stoic, almost no emotions. and aether just being a lovely ball of sunshine who tore those walls down. (don’t even get me started on xiao’s birthday letters, i’d eat bricks)

favorite oz author? i know you’re going to say a lot of people but just One. your #1 favorite author. i’m really curious.
not the call out omg. ok if i really need to pick one, it’s zizi :) (XiaZia on ao3). she always has such creative, amazing ideas and the way her mind works never fails to blow me away. her writing makes me crazy, in a “i’m going to eat bricks and swallow cement” kind of way. she writes heart gut wrenching stories that makes me cry and makes me stare at my walls. she also writes really sweet fluffy stories that makes me believe in love! she’s an amazing writer, and i am also incredibly lucky she’s a close friend of mine and i’m able to witness how her works professes, and it’s something i’ll never take for granted. if you’ve not read her works, i highly recommend you do because i have no doubt she’ll become your favorite author too!
I ALSO LOVE ALL OZ AUTHORS BECAUSE THEY KEEP ME FED!!!

ok for a serious answer: ig it will take time for you to move on and heal, which is okay. healing is not linear and you will tend to miss them anyway. if they were mean to you, then it would be best to just do everything not to miss them ig. im sorry, im not the best at uhhh advice LMAO. i hope you do feel better!

hi may, i'm feeling a little mellow so i wanted to ask, what's your take on love? what do you think love is?
hi anon :) i hope all’s well with you. i’m also feeling a little mellow and sad, so i guess brace yourself for a long, maybe emotional answer.
i’m not the very best at love, i think, and the experiences i’ve had also has not been the best but to me, love is kind. it might sound very cliché but when you love someone, you naturally become kind to them. to me, love also means safety. they become your safe space. well, that’s my experience so i think like that.
there’s also the platonic love! my favorite form of love because i love my friends, and i could never go through life without them. when you have this kind of love in your life, you should never take it for granted. i think it is genuinely such a privilege to know and experience platonic love.
love has so many forms and shapes in my head, i think of the word love and i don’t see just one or two things. it’s a little hard to really describe it. love is tender, and it’s an incredibly powerful emotion.
i think chappell roan said it best: love is a kaleidoscope.
