Mini rant: I hate that you can’t even draw a nice parallel or any sort of dynamic between Gojo and Yuji without someone thinking it’s a ship. Like ship wise they would work in all flavours but friendship wise they fucking rock too. It’s so sad the fandom glosses over it. It’s like a landmine to even speak on them anymore cause everyone is afraid of being called a shipper. Idk maybe they are just iconic like that embrace it
I've thought about this quite a lot. There's hardly anyone doing any thoughtful analysis of how amazing Gojo and Yuuji's relationship was.
- They got along so well with each other
Yuuji, above even Yuuta, saw Gojo as a person, his teacher. It was literally a huge part of Shibuya, Yuuji fought tooth and nail for him
Gojo avoiding Yuuji post-sealing because he didn't want to poison him with his ideals. As a Goyuu shipper I think that's sadly romantic, as a jjk fan it's just such a powerful testament of their characters
Their final scene together??? so fucking beautiful. They cared so much about each other, probably one of the best and most central relationships in jjk and no one talks about it enough?? insane.

You sure talk a lot about colorism while also liking art where yuuji is whitewashed and where he is almost paper white, if you can do this correctly don't do it then, hypocrite
there's defintely a problem there, honestly. I guess I'm a bit of a hypocrite because that bothers me less than the continously trend of people treating tan, darker-skinned characters a certain way. I wouldn't be able to stand it if anyone called Yuuji pale-skinned though, he's just not. But you do have a point, something to think about.

yo just a heads-up but I think you better be veeeeerry discreet about that 5U website because I remember last year the jp 5U artists were really upset about chn 5Uonly website because they reuploaded the scanlations of their doujins without permission. there was a tweet with like thousands of RTs urging everyone to block it. one of my favourite artist (yuji_mother) even went private and considered to stop selling their book online and restrict it to only japanese buyers in comikets.... so just be mindful...

But in 268, we have Yuji running STRAIGHT PAST Megumi to confess his love to and beg Sukuna to please come inside of him again
Megumi must be the cuck supreme bc if Yuuji stolen from me by a blob of goo who tormented me, I think I’d just summon Mahoraga to destroy everything and myself 😭

I know you feel down with goyuu in canon rn, but put it this way, at least goyuu interactions from canon were the highlights for the fandom as a collective and not associated to dogshit writing reasoning with another certain ship especially with diehard gojo fans that international fans all hated (wink wink wink)
