Mini rant: I hate that you can’t even draw a nice parallel or any sort of dynamic between Gojo and Yuji without someone thinking it’s a ship. Like ship wise they would work in all flavours but friendship wise they fucking rock too. It’s so sad the fandom glosses over it. It’s like a landmine to even speak on them anymore cause everyone is afraid of being called a shipper. Idk maybe they are just iconic like that embrace it
I've thought about this quite a lot. There's hardly anyone doing any thoughtful analysis of how amazing Gojo and Yuuji's relationship was.
- They got along so well with each other
Yuuji, above even Yuuta, saw Gojo as a person, his teacher. It was literally a huge part of Shibuya, Yuuji fought tooth and nail for him
Gojo avoiding Yuuji post-sealing because he didn't want to poison him with his ideals. As a Goyuu shipper I think that's sadly romantic, as a jjk fan it's just such a powerful testament of their characters
Their final scene together??? so fucking beautiful. They cared so much about each other, probably one of the best and most central relationships in jjk and no one talks about it enough?? insane.
