genius future st4y community event idea- writers submit their existing fics and artists can claim a fic to draw something for! writers can put a little blurb/summary and a link to the full fic, and maybe claiming lasts longer so artists can actually read some of the fics before choosing lol. but this could also be done in reverse where artists submit art and writers claim them and write a fic for it!
idk what your plans for future events are but as an artist im always looking for more artist friendly events :)

I think an artist-centered event is long overdue! I've tried to workshop some events about showcasing art in the past (similar to April Rec Aw4rds) but I'm still trying to figure out a way that doesn't just mean reposting art. I want to be creative with it, and I also don't want to steal lol
The Valentine Fic Exch4nge is actually heavily inspired by st4ytistevents and their White Day Gift Exchange! I was going to involve artists with it originally, but the logistics of that didn't work out. However, I did have the idea to do something similar to your event proposal: after all the fics are posted on Valentine's Day, have artists choose a gifted fic to draw a scene from
Theming-wise it would be cool to have posting be on White Day, but that's a pretty short timeframe. As an artist, if you were given all the scenes to choose from, how long do you think a complete piece would take from choice to post?
If we don't do it on White Day but rather leave it open to submit whenever, maybe more people would be able to participate? 🤔 Hmmm lots to think about
