What if Cloud gets adopted by Sephiroth, which had found him all alone back then when he lived in Nibelheim in the mountains when he was younger? bc of an incident. Sephy is still a Soldier 1st, but he is good and doesn't go insane in Nibelheim, he takes Cloud with him and since then Cloud is living together with sephy, sephy does teach him everything he knows, like in fighting and defense himself, cloud does adore him, so much, he loves him and even when he already got everything he needs, he still wants more, he wants sephiroth to love him
cloud also thinks that he owe sephy his life and now has to serve him forever so they can't be together....
sorry if this is total crap, but i dont have that much talent as you, and posting anonym feels somehow better than normal... people dont see it anyway when i post it on twt.

I just see this as a crack fic where teen Seph takes him because he’s an orphan, and hides Cloud like a secret pet because he doesn’t want Hojo to see him and Cloud becomes a strange sort of emotional support pet, and then Seph realizes that taking care of another living being is very very hard
