wings, i just wanted to tell you that every breath u take has been such a healing fic for me as someone who has also gone through a fair share of trauma. getting to see my boys happy after all they went through is making me believe in a way out for me as well. thank you. 🩷🐶

What if Cloud gets adopted by Sephiroth, which had found him all alone back then when he lived in Nibelheim in the mountains when he was younger? bc of an incident. Sephy is still a Soldier 1st, but he is good and doesn't go insane in Nibelheim, he takes Cloud with him and since then Cloud is living together with sephy, sephy does teach him everything he knows, like in fighting and defense himself, cloud does adore him, so much, he loves him and even when he already got everything he needs, he still wants more, he wants sephiroth to love him
cloud also thinks that he owe sephy his life and now has to serve him forever so they can't be together....

I just see this as a crack fic where teen Seph takes him because he’s an orphan, and hides Cloud like a secret pet because he doesn’t want Hojo to see him and Cloud becomes a strange sort of emotional support pet, and then Seph realizes that taking care of another living being is very very hard

Hey Wings, why your fics show up as written by Anonymous on ao3?
So shortly after joining a fandom writing discord in 2021, I set all my fics to anonymous. I find that there can be this unspoken pressure to support each other’s works, and I didn’t want anyone to feel obligated to read anything of mine, nor feel obligated to read anyone else’s (which can be hard for people for a variety of reasons — executive dysfunction, pathological demand avoidance, attention span, time, mismatch in preferences)
It’s certainly easier to develop rapport when you can mutually support each other’s work, but I think you can be friendly without doing so, and that it’s better to do so without that sense of transaction
Over time, some people became nervous about anonymous fics, because people are people and fallouts happen, so I put mine into a series to distinguish them—some people figured out that I wrote certain fics anyway
By the time I started posting on twitter, a lot of writer friends already knew the series was mine, and posting art or promo links defeats the purpose of anonymity, but I just leave it like that now because the fics are spread over two accounts, so deanonymizing would just look confusing and serve little purpose

Hello!! Haha I actually never intended to write a second long fic & never plan these things, I just get random hyperfixations + go into a writing frenzy
I’m trying to take a writing break currently because it feels too all-consuming, and hoping that I can take care of myself better + create in a healthy way
I’m sure at some point I will write again when inspiration strikes, but I’m not in control of it, so I’m not sure what it will be or what length and so on lol

As a Sephiroth and Sefikura stan since 2010/2011, why are we insisting that anyone who's stanning Sephiroth must ALWAYS include Cloud and sefikura, or to be direct 'stan his cause', else we aren't true fans? There are many Sephiroth stans who appreciate Sephiroth Cloud, Aerith, etc. and the story of FF7 who doesn't ship as much as the majority and still respects the opinions/ preferences of others without any need of harassment.
Unless that whole insistence is directed at those liking Sephiroth but are being disrespectful to those shipping sefikura, then I think that whole mindset is sort of toxic.
And I mean that In the most respectful way possible since as a Sefikura veteran, the ship and all its fanfics over the years got me through a lot and I want nothing but the best for all who love it as I do and treat it as a safe space since so much horrible things go on in the FF7 fandom. 💔
I do think this is directed primarily at Sephiroth Stans who are hostile to Sefikuras (which of course we find funny because they’re like “but he burned his hometown down!!/but I can fix him”
It’s probably similar to people vague tweeting about how people who hate on Aerith or Tifa do not truly care about Cloud, etc.
It’s fine like you say, to dislike any character or ships, it’s just not cool to harass others for whatever they like
I’m sure there are Sephiroth fans who dislike Sefikura and that’s perfectly fine; some of them may condemn us and so I think these sentiments just point that these people are ignoring canon significance + hypocrisy

Not a question, first I'll say I love your fanfictions and your art. Been binging them all week. Good intentions is absolutely one of my favorite so is that modern au where Zacks a cold hearted killer. There's another story I liked so this is more of a suggestion for another story or one shot. There was a story where Cloud was a stripper. I think it'd be fascinating to see the route if Cloud actually was Zack's sugar baby

I just wanted to know where the misconception of people fond of sefikura hating women came from. Do sefikura fans around the world legitimately hate the idea that Sephiroth is paired with women or anyone else in that matter that isn't Cloud, or was that just a troublesome rumor? As a pansexual, I headcannon like the idea that he could be loved by all. 🏳️🌈💕
Wow, I’ve never heard that before, actually. I would guess that it’s coming from antis who tend to target sefikuras in this fandom. Anti-fujo vibes, which I think is ironically misogynistic.
Most sefikuras I find are pretty chill and ship & let ship, though eastern fans I’ve heard are more firm about otps and position preference.
The other possible answer, which is pure speculation and not meant to speak of anyone in particular, is that it could be coming from a very small subset of those who ship Sephiroth in m/f pairings—I say this because in my general observations, people tend to dislike aspects they view as “obstacles” — so some self shippers may hate the most popular pairing, or some shippers may hate the nearest competing popular pairing, etc
