When you are writing the vn do you write it on an app like google docs and then rewrite it in renpy or do you write it directly into renpy and polish it later
I write everything in a Microsoft Word doc. Doing things in a word doc makes it easy on my editors. They can use Word's (or Google Doc's/Libra Office's) review functions to add comments, correct mistakes, etc.
In my word doc, I do my best to match RenPy's syntax so I can easily just copy+paste it into the engine once I'm done writing. It might look something like this:
Darrell"Dude, I fucking {i}LOVE{/i} chicken wings."
"I roll my eyes."
MC"Yes, Darrell. That's the 99\% of the Earth's population knows this."
