Heya small question - what program do you use to write and compile the coding for ChoPro? Considering to write my own VN - but many of those programs seem to advertise themselves with "oooh enhance your coding with ai"-slop and I do feel uncomfortable with that trend in general and wish to avoid it as much as I can.
Visual Studio Code. It's the recommended development environment for RenPy. It's made by Microsoft, so they're trying to push AI/copilot bullshit with it. But you can just ignore all of that. I'm not sure what alternatives you can find that don't have any AI integration.
