it's okay, I was a little defensive bc I'm used to this question getting asked in bad faith (this is a huge topic in certain communities, sexual vs nonsexual ageplay, age play vs age regression) so that's why I answered the way I did. like I said, it's all about the power dynamics of it. as for why people would choose this dynamic specifically over something like pet play depends. I can't speak for everyone of course bc everyone gets something different out of it. it's cute, and the people in this type of dynamic want to be taken care of/take care of someone in a specific way that you can't achieve with another dynamic. there's sooo much to it. but it's not "I want to be a child/be treated like a child" it's "i want to be taken care of like one" but the bottom line is that when ppl engage in sexual age play, the little (sub) does not actually have the mind of a child. it's just a headspace the sub enters like in any other kind of d/s dynamic that involves power exchange. when I use the term little space I do not mean actual age regression, it's just a headspace
