Hello, we are replying again to this ask--after consultation, the mod team has revised the word counts and they will now be 2,500 to 3,500 for the main SFW zine and 2,500 to 4,500 for the NSFW side-zine.

Consequently, we are expecting at least one completed work between 2,500 and 3,500 words if you're applying at all for the main SFW zine; if applying exclusively to the NSFW side-zine, your complete work may be up to 4,500 words. Alongside this completed work, we will require 2 samples between 1,500 and 3,500 words, which can be excerpts or completed works. Poets may elect to replace their complete or sample pieces by poems of up to 48 lines.

If you're applying to the SFW zine, at least one of your samples must be SFW. If you're applying to the NSFW zine, at least one of your samples must be NSFW. As you assumed, we will also require that at least one of your samples be a Genshin Impact work, but we will not be requiring a Clorivia sample to apply.

We will also require a portfolio of at least 5 works up to 5,000 words, amongst which your 3 samples may be counted.
