Hello! I was wondering, for the portfolio is it okay if there are two excerpts from the same piece, or would y’all prefer 5 individual pieces? Thank you for the help and looking forward to sending my work :)
Hello! Our mods would prefer to see 5 different pieces if possible. While we won’t disqualify your app for sending in two excerpts from the same work, our goal with samples is to help us get a sense of how you write in general so as to help us break any ties between closely rated applicants, so being able to sample different works is helpful in that regard.
