again!!!! i am so biased this was gifted to me because of an insane thing i said!!!! but this is a really really really good fic jeonghyeon is maximum obedient puppy with an oral fixation here. one thing about ao3 user lovedays its smut will never fail to be good with an underlying sense of tenderness/trust

hey sorry it took me a bit to reply to this one i saw it like right away but it kinda made me emotional. i wrote that in like. a kinda shitty place when i was feeling bad about gender stuff and needed a purely positive outlet and i really didn't expect people to read it outside of my like. one friend who we read everything from e/o because its so niche being a short trans-focused fluff with no porn or anything. so it really makes me happy that it made somebody else feel good to read.

i'm a myday youngk ult so like T_T idk. when you love someone is my favorite day6 song and i was stumped on what to call the fic but that song is just the perfect gentle hug of a song that doesn't question or anything just accepts. and that was the thing i wanted for that fic. thank you so much for reaching out to tell me this it means a lot

so like. a couple things. did you miss the a/n where i said i hc both jh/se as vers or the chart on my rentry where i have both lijeon and eonlij marked even if i default to lijeon. i like both. or did you skip over the part where i said i think most top/bottom discourse is stupid despite having some preferences.

to be frank with you so much top/bottom discourse comes down to "hes masculine he cant bottom/hes too cute he cant bottom" which is extremely reductive of sexuality and identity and it's part of why i don't care about and dislike most top bottom discourse and either default to vers or have my preference but don't push it on others lol. and i admit this makes me feel weird because we already deal with corny "jeonghyeon is soooo straight" shit can we not do this too

anyways. crazy thing to get in response to what i presume was my last fic where jeonghyeon didn't even bottom he just says he's open to trying it for the first time /):&:8/8: like i didn't even write that shit. on that note... hey if you don't like the way i write jeonghyeon and lijeon and my preferred hcs and characterizations of their relationship and dynamic you are more than welcome to write your own and add to the tag! god knows it's exhausting being the only author in there where they aren't a bg ship since october! :)

i would looooooooove to write big bad wolf jeong who puts his cute ferret in his place. i've actually thought about the nuances of how i'd write them from that angle quite a bit because i'm very partial to jeonghyeon being submissive just like. in his general daily life with seungeon even if d/s isn't explicitly involved. service dog you know. so at least for me i think the ways i'd come at it would probably be

a) jeonghyeon would neeeeed to have a conversation about it first because i think he'd be nervous about being mean to seungeon lmao. but once he hears seungeon enthusiastically tell him he wants it he'd be willing to do it and would really enjoy playing in that space

b) alternatively seungeon actively egging jeonghyeon on to get a reaction out of him with this in mind as his goal. like their annoying each other thing where seungeon bothers jeonghyeon to the point of frustration because they're obsessed with each other and the only thing jeonghyeon can think to do is push him down and he realizes that's what seungeon's after and like. seungeon annoying (affectionate) but also how can he not give seungeon what he's asking for?

so like. still fundamentally service dog things i think but different than the way i've written them

hey i've been sitting on this for a few days thinking about how to respond to this nicely. i'm an ennve. i watch evnne and consume evnne content not as branch of a broad-spectrum boys planet fandom, but as their own individual group. which... isn't inherently a wrong way to enjoy evnne especially if you're primarily a zerose or invested heavily in both, but honestly i'm kind of put off by the seeming implications here that if i like and write evnne, that means i Have to like and write zb1? they are two totally different groups who share an origin point and have overlapping friends, but ultimately evnne should be able to stand on their own as a group without always being tied to zb1! the same as their fans! and they DO! even if some people in the fandoms (specifically zeroses who see evnne as side-dish to zb1 because they like one or two members) frustratingly can't separate them.

to be honest this has been one of my bigger worries with evnne fandom and ficdom is how heavily tied to zb1 it is. so getting this kind of sucked. i sincerely hope moving into the new year we can all take a step back and try to view evnne as their own group without constantly making everything about them involve or even outright revolve around zb1.

i guess to answer your question: i like zb1 as guys! i care about them and want them to be happy. i casually talk about rps of them with some close friends. however, i largely disengaged with them on a stanning level and i'm very casual about them. part of it is just that they didn't click with me as an actual group the way evnne (and xikers) have so i can't devote much brain power to them. part of it is i find the general fandom and rps ficdom rather off-putting despite it being good for numbers and having a lot of space to play in.

i like evnne because i like evnne. i write evnne because i like evnne. how i feel or don't feel about zb1 isn't related to that. sorry if you read my single zb1 fic and thought the multiple evnne fics were just me playing around before getting back to zb1... or something? and you're sad about that?? sorry i'm really confused about this whole thing and it kind of feels shitty.
