hey i've been sitting on this for a few days thinking about how to respond to this nicely. i'm an ennve. i watch evnne and consume evnne content not as branch of a broad-spectrum boys planet fandom, but as their own individual group. which... isn't inherently a wrong way to enjoy evnne especially if you're primarily a zerose or invested heavily in both, but honestly i'm kind of put off by the seeming implications here that if i like and write evnne, that means i Have to like and write zb1? they are two totally different groups who share an origin point and have overlapping friends, but ultimately evnne should be able to stand on their own as a group without always being tied to zb1! the same as their fans! and they DO! even if some people in the fandoms (specifically zeroses who see evnne as side-dish to zb1 because they like one or two members) frustratingly can't separate them.

to be honest this has been one of my bigger worries with evnne fandom and ficdom is how heavily tied to zb1 it is. so getting this kind of sucked. i sincerely hope moving into the new year we can all take a step back and try to view evnne as their own group without constantly making everything about them involve or even outright revolve around zb1.

i guess to answer your question: i like zb1 as guys! i care about them and want them to be happy. i casually talk about rps of them with some close friends. however, i largely disengaged with them on a stanning level and i'm very casual about them. part of it is just that they didn't click with me as an actual group the way evnne (and xikers) have so i can't devote much brain power to them. part of it is i find the general fandom and rps ficdom rather off-putting despite it being good for numbers and having a lot of space to play in.

i like evnne because i like evnne. i write evnne because i like evnne. how i feel or don't feel about zb1 isn't related to that. sorry if you read my single zb1 fic and thought the multiple evnne fics were just me playing around before getting back to zb1... or something? and you're sad about that?? sorry i'm really confused about this whole thing and it kind of feels shitty.
