I was here in vague thoughts, and I thought of two very good sentences to discuss, do you think we don't have enemies or would our biggest enemy be ourselves?
I think this isn't something you can answer without context. I don't believe it's in human nature to antagonize others or self-sabotage, it's the world around us that pushes us to do so. On a systemic level, I could say the world is inhabited by a significant amount of people who work towards my demise (misogynists, homophobes, the conservatives and the right wing in general, etc.) It wouldn't be crazy to say that those are my enemies. That is because my position in the world has a direct effect on my relationships with others, whether I like it or not.
And it also has an effect on my relationship with myself: is insecurity in my nature or does it stem from past trauma that has shaped the way I interact with the world and continues to hinder my progress in life? I believe it's the latter. Meaning the only reason I can become my own enemy is because I've been somehow taught to do so.
In a way, all of that is a (direct or indirect) consequence of the circumstances that surround us, the context we grew up in and the experiences that made us who we are today. Does that mean that the real enemy is the world itself? Well. I don't know if I'd go as far as to say that, but the world can be a very hostile place sometimes. I guess those are my thoughts on the matter, if it makes sense.

Great question 👀 I guess each option has very different implications, both very interesting though. I like the specific flavor of Law being the "outsider," perhaps regarded as less than human or even as a monster by most people. And then there's regular human Luffy who shows him kindness, treats him as an equal and appreciates every part of him (oops it sounds like I'm rewriting my fae!Law AU all over again dfgkjsg 😂)
I guess I have a soft spot for the idea of Luffy being just... some guy. He doesn't have anything special going on, but he's special because he's Luffy, if that makes sense. The most seemingly ordinary person ends up being the one to make a difference.
But I also really like the concept of merman Luffy filling Law's dull world with wonder and whimsy. And Law, curious by nature, is intrigued by this creature and his culture, and quickly becomes enamored with Luffy and everything that surrounds him (aaand now I'm rewriting my vampire!Luffy AU. Guess I'm predictable 😅).

That's exactly what you said. One of my habits that I wanted to change is that every time I plan or say I'm going to do something, I end up not doing it because of some unforeseen circumstances or distractions.

Hi, Little Anon! 🌸 I'm trying my best to survive the heat, I guess 🥹 By "craze" do you mean some kind of bad habit that I'd like to cut off? If so, I guess that would be picking the skin around my nails :'') I can't stop doing it no matter how hard I try, at this point it's subconscious.

One Piece had a lot of focus on making me cry. My favorite characters are Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Law. I'll avoid saying too much so that anyone reading the comments ends up getting spoilers. Are you watching any other anime at the moment? Do you like reading manga too?
It's a very emotional story, indeed! ♥ I'm not currently watching any other anime, but I'm planning on starting Dungeon Meshi as soon as I finish the manga. I actually read a lot more manga than I watch anime! Aside from Dungeon Meshi, right now I'm following Witch Hat Atelier and The Summer Hikaru Died + rereading Haikyuu ♥

So you make fanart and fanfics about One Piece, congratulations, you have my respect. One Piece is the best anime ever created, I like everything about it, story, characters, world building, backstories. What's your favorite character? Oda is a genius 😎
Glad you like it too! One Piece is a very special story for me. I'd say my favorite character is Ace, but Law follows him very closely (maybe they even share the spot, actually) ♥ Luffy and Robin are up there too though. One Piece just has a ton of interesting and very charismatic characters, they're all very well-written.

i have decided to finally bite the bullet and start OP (i 100% blame you for that, in an entirely positive way!! 🤭❤️ your love is contagious) but i must admit i'm a little lost. would you recommend, like. start with the manga? the anime? watch the live action and go from there???

I'd say there's no right way to walk the One Piece journey, I have friends who started the anime after they watched the live action because they liked it so much. If you feel overwhelmed by the original story, you could try that to start.
Though if you want to catch up fast, I'd say read the manga. It has better pacing and it's less time-consuming than watching the anime, I guess. Personally I started with the anime when I was like 7 years old, and didn't get to read the manga until many years later, so I have a very special, nostalgic affection for the anime 🌸 I guess everyone's experience is different! Whatever you choose to do will be fine!

What are you most proud of having done or making progress?
Oh wow this is such a deep question actually. Honestly, sometimes I'm think I'm proud of just staying alive. It gets hard sometimes, but I'm still here and I'm still trying to make the most out of it, to look for the things that make it all worth it and hold onto them.
I'm proud that I still have creative drive despite everything, even if I have little energy for it most of the time. If I can manage to just draw a silly doodle on my notebook or write 50 words on my fic wip, I'm proud of it. It's not much, but it's something. I still have something in me that wants to create and share my passion and my joy.
I'm also proud that I'm still curious even when I'm scared or unsure. Being curious led me to discover new things that are now big pillars of my life, like my kendo club, or even some of my best friends today. I might not be the best at anything I do (not art, not writing, not kendo, not social life); in fact, I'm kind of mediocre at pretty much everything. But I try to enjoy it all to the fullest and pour myself on it. It doesn't always work, sometimes I'm burnt out, I lose a bit of the joy that comes with doing all those things. But I keep trying. And I guess I'm proud of that.

block them from reaching you. block anons. don't answer their weird shit, don't give them time of the day. cruel people feed on drama and upsetting others, so, honestly? give them nothing. i love sending you one thing or another (sharing cat stuff or reminding you that i love seeing you on my dash because you ARE sweet and you ARE kind and there's absolutely 0 things wrong with that), but if it's going to help you not receive as much weird shit from people who got nothing better to do than be mean-spirited to strangers on the internet and feel braver hiding behind that, turn off anon.
