trying to open a lighthearted conversation w u. wdyt sama rahasia umum? silent agreement? kalau yeongyuist tend to over feminize bg and over masculine yj padahal irl they both are feminine in their own way (re: bg w how he looks and yj w how he acts and bring himself his style etc) kenapa kebanyakan orang disini bahkan para big accs rps nya so against in using effeminate term for yj 🤔 even just using the word pretty for him dan ini di luar aus or fics aka just how people potray him daily menurut lo kenapa they act like that? is it because they see yj is a top so he must be masculine? tapi bukannya kalau gitu toxic masculinity n heteronormative ya? nggak respecting yj juga? pls enlighten me soalnya setiap ada konten yj looking pretty there almost none people talking abt it here some even acting bitter just because he wears skirt it’s so disheartening to see and like they just like him when he met their narrative of masc yj not when he’s being feminine and being himself
hello anon! i appreciate this open discussion. honestly i dont know about people "acting bitter" because he's wearing skirt like that because i personally like it. and to answer your question, aku kebetulan berteman dengan berbagai macam shipper, not just yeonbam, and I’m ngl every shipper did it, that’s why there’s a term about who’s being left or right (unless yang open both to switch). not trying to normalize tapi karena kita ngobrol dari kacamata rps dan alternative universe, ofc orang orang punya preference beda2 to fit their narrative. aku personally ga masalah, tapi beberapa org emg cuma mau nerima kalo A jadi top and B jadi bot, that lead them to potray each character masc/femn which is, sad..? but that’s the truth I guess, at least from my perspective. aku blm bisa jawab yg heteronormative one krn blm paham terlalu dalam ttg hal tsb but i guess masih ada hubungannya sama narasi di atas. hope it helps (or not) either way thank you for this ask!
