the ADA has 2 former assassins, one (unwilling) war criminal, and one ex-mafia executive. and somehow, Tanizaki is STILL the member closest to evil? stated by word of god?? what has he done, or what does he do, to surpass even mr. ex-mafia? that statement can't only mean the selfish villain mindset of burning the world for one person… profoundly thonking.
RIGHT thank you so much for sending this bc i think about it SO OFTEN. what are tanizaki’s secrets … i love how the beginning of ln3 has him acting all “i’m just a littol guy, untalented, a regular little normie even” but the minute you threaten naomi even black lizard is like “oh this man is TERRIFYING”. i really want to know how fukuzawa found him. especially after getting that backstory chapter for kenji, i really want something similar for tanizaki. the way he’s based on the author i see most often at the top of peoples’ “greatest japanese literary masters of all time” lists and yet we know so little about him … asagiri what are your plans 👀👀👀👀
