Idk if it's the right place to ask this but I saw one of your answers once where you said you quit English to pursue biology so yeah, here for some reason. Recently I've dropped out of college to pursue med and tried taking an exam but sadly failed so I have another year to prep for it but I feel like I'm not going to be enough. I've already wasted a lot of my parents money and they are angry with me for taking a risk. I want to work in healthcare but I feel hopeless and doubt my own dreams now

wahh anon i'm so sorry for the slow response, i've been not feeling well for the last week ;_;

ANYWHO yeah i did quit english to pursue biology! my situation was a little bit complicated, i dropped out of college because i couldn't afford to stay in school (very long story skdjfhg) and worked for 3 years in retail then kind of stumbled into biology (i thought i wanted to be a physical therapist, then fell in love with evolutionary biology instead, although for my graduate work i am doing neither of those things lol i'm doing neuroendocrinology/neurogenomics). i totally get how you feel, when i went back i had to take placement tests to get back into classes and it was a very humbling experience, i had to retake a lottt of math in particular ;_; i'm not sure how much help i can be, but i think if you want to pursue it then don't give up!!! i don't know how old you are, but i was definitely older than the average student when i finally finished my degree (the time between the year i dropped out of college attempt 1 and the year i finished my undergraduate degree was 9 years). it really took me a long time and a lot of grinding but i think if you want it, then it is worth pursuing!!

twitter is a mess so i may not respond fast BUT my dm's are open (or should be open!!) if you ever want to talk about it!
