oh man I feel like I always share the same fics so I'm sorry if I'm being repetitive lol but:

this is a very short list of some of my favorite fics, but I must have read around 190 so far? (so I can give more recs if you've ever looking for something specific) other than that I've read most of glitterburn and wennyt's fics

hiii! im kind of in a weird... reading stump?? i spent a couple of months catching up on fests, friend's works and specially a lot of longer format 100k+ fics that now im afraid i've burned out a bit...and it's a bummer bc i do want to support the writers. have u ever gone through something similar or fandom burnout in general? have a good week 💝
yeah that happens to me at least twice a year lol. I enjoy reading fics a lot but sometimes I go overboard trying to catch up with an author or a fest and end up a bit burned out, like it's suddenly an obligation. but it's alright to take a break! you can go back to those fics later to give them your full attention. and if you want to support the writers you can still rt or share their fics or give them a shout out in the meantime. hope you have a nice week too!

Hi! I was rereading Celestial Alignment earlier and got curious as to if they made it or not. I loved the ending as it is but a part of me must know if they managed to be free and happy, if you've thought of that of course lol
Ngl, I'm a sucker for open endings so I don't usually think much beyond the ending line. I like that there are a lot of possibilities and the reader can chose what they want from the stories, but I also like hinting hopeful or sad endings. In this case, and since the fic is so full of yearning, I wanted homin not only to be hopeful but also have a real chance to be free again, so I wrote the ending with that in mind. So yeah I think they managed to be free and hopefully happy, what the do from that is up to them (or the reader)

i was thinking a lot these days about homin omegaverse au, like most people think changmin is an omega but they are both alphas and are marked/mated and yunho has puppy fever (it's like he really wants to have a baby but for alphas it's much harder to happen)
ahhh I'm sorry anon, I been thinking about what to reply but I don't think I'm the best to discuss the mpreg part of omgaverse 😭 but I do think this is a very interesting idea! I haven't read a lot of tvxq a/b/o but I know yunho is the one who is usually cast as the omega so it'd be interesting playing with role subversions and have them both being alphas and trying to navigate a) an unconventional relationship and b) yunho's puppy fever

where and how do you mainly get inspirations for your fics?
I get inspiration from basically everything! movies, tv shows, books, music, art, real life experiences, or stories I've been told by other people. the pool of inspiration is endless and I try to keep in mind all the things I find interesting to further explore in a story.
sometimes, though, having an idea isn't enough so I actively look for inspiration in different media (especially when I'm having trouble solving a plot point) and it's really interesting when I end up connecting stuff or getting inspo from things I hadn't even considered.
like, last year I wrote a comic horror fic. I knew from the start that I wanted it to take place in a theater, centered around a cursed performance, and I had a scene in mind that was inspired by a painting, but I didn't have much else. So I watched a ton of youtube videos about cosmic horror to get a grasp on the genre, and in one of those videos I came across a book (the king in yellow) that has different stories, all connected by fictional cursed theater play that drives mad. and even though it wasn't what I was looking for and I didn't want my story to go in that direction, it was a massive inspiration.
so yeah, inspiration comes from everywhere and it's a messy thing, but that's how I do it
