anon i have to say i never thought about it before but now the cogs are turning... kokomi and cyno have this understanding of loss and sacrifice and divinity in a very particular way because they both have to deal with vestiges of the past that keep haunting them and i'd like to think they would find solace in knowing someone else has to share the kind of burden only upholding your duty brings. haitham understands that and he doesn't mind leaving them alone when they get in a particular mood.... all three of them respect each other because they know just how clever and thoughtful and capable they are in their own ways and it shows in every interaction they share but i also think they are the kind of people to do their own thing in the same room quietly... it doesn't bother kokomi to hear cyno mumbling to himself as he arranges his deck and haitham doesn't mind that they park themselves on his couch and don't move for hours while he goes on about completing his daily tasks at home... cuddle pile at night.... you can think of them like cats trotting one behind the other or haitham walking with two people attached to him underneath his cape at all times.
