sorry anon for late reply AUGH!!!! hm i think they can be pretty fun as a ship though i prefer them to be friends ! i think neuvillette really likes lyney's enthusiasm and passion about his magic and though he's old as shit and has seen a lot he's still a little fascinated by how seamlessly lyney can pull of his shows ! and he is also impressed with how far lyney is willing to go for his siblings,,,, lyney in turn appreciates that despite neuvillette's position as the chief justice he doesn't necessarily see him and the other children as inherently evil and delights in answering neuvillette's questions about his more complex tricks (<- wants to pile neuvillette with so many friends i feel delirious)

hears u out...... long haired haitham can be something so personal bc its not like he always has it long he just lets it grow long enough once a year, remembers the maintenance routine and cuts it again after a while....but when he DOES have long hair he keeps surprisingly styling it differently and buying the best products he can and he even takes recommendations from kvh and nilou and dehya 🥺 and he lets cyno brush his hair for him too........

THOUGHTS ON KOKOCYTHAM AS A PAIR (im a little delusional) -kokotham anon
anon i have to say i never thought about it before but now the cogs are turning... kokomi and cyno have this understanding of loss and sacrifice and divinity in a very particular way because they both have to deal with vestiges of the past that keep haunting them and i'd like to think they would find solace in knowing someone else has to share the kind of burden only upholding your duty brings. haitham understands that and he doesn't mind leaving them alone when they get in a particular mood.... all three of them respect each other because they know just how clever and thoughtful and capable they are in their own ways and it shows in every interaction they share but i also think they are the kind of people to do their own thing in the same room quietly... it doesn't bother kokomi to hear cyno mumbling to himself as he arranges his deck and haitham doesn't mind that they park themselves on his couch and don't move for hours while he goes on about completing his daily tasks at home... cuddle pile at night.... you can think of them like cats trotting one behind the other or haitham walking with two people attached to him underneath his cape at all times.

i think kokomi and alhaitham as friends/shipped together would be a little silly
stares into the distance. they can read in silence together and exchange books and ideas and can curl up together after a long day... hthm forcing kokomi to take breaks because she's running herself ragged trying to solve so many problems at once.... friendly people who can actually be so so damn terrifying and incapacitate you in two seconds flat. OH I LIKE THIS !!!!!

oh. oh they really would !!! i think haitham and ginko have a lot in common already... haitham appreciates ginko's willingness to not blindly follow the general hatred for mushishi and instead seeks to see both side of any situation. it helps that ginko can match haitham's intelligence ! and i think ginko would appreciate haitham's bluntness and his roundabout way of caring about others and their problems in a world where ginko has to deal with a lot of single minded people.... ginko is that one friend who keeps passing through the city and haitham has to pick him off the woods and give him a place to rest while they discuss things... NOW I WANT THEM TO MEEEET ......
