Most of our items are on-hand with our shipping mod already, if not in production. As for shipping estimates, should things go smoothly as planned, we're projecting to ship out all physical bundles by end February 2024. Thank you for your patience!

Will there be leftover sales? I can't buy the zine right now, but I'd love to grab a copy in the future
Thank you for your question; it so happens that our preorders have been extended to the 7th of September! Our digital bundle will remain available on our shop even after preorders, and we will host a leftover sale once all preorders have been shipped out. How long do you expect your production time to be? Will you be able to fulfill orders within 6 months?
Thank you for your question! Though production times vary for different manufacturers, our team has confidence that we can fulfill orders within 6 months, which we understand is the window of time when Paypal allows for refunds.
Unfortunately, all zines inherently carry certain levels of risk and the possibility of hiccups occurring is impossible to rule out. It is unrealistic to promise or guarantee nothing will go wrong/be delayed during the entirety of the production and shipping process, as there are some things that are out of our control. However, what we can promise is accountability and transparency about the progress of the zine throughout the entirety of the making and delivery through our discord for contributors and public social media platforms for buyers.

May I ask if your formatting is finished? Do you have a sample copy of your zine to show?
Thank you for your question! Formatting for the zine is underway, and once it's finished, we will be releasing it to contributors to review after our Preorders have closed! We currently do not have a physical copy of our zine to show yet, but once the sample has arrived to our shipping mod, we will be sure to update our zine's production status on Discord and our various social media platforms!

That's correct; the add-on applicable for some zine bundles is the digital copy of the zine in pdf file format 💜

Hello! We've answered an anonymous inquiry with a similiar misconception before, but Austerity is a Cyno-focused zine, not a Cyno-ship zine. Please refer to our other response about ship arts for a more through answer. We have enforced the no-ship rule in this zine throughout its creation, and hope our audience knows that our content is Cyno-centric; any other characters cameos with Cyno in this zine are purely platonic. Hello! As per an announcement made on our Twitter, we will be releasing results by 1st February due to the team requiring some extra time to review the applications received. I’ve noticed that on some of your artist contributor announcements, that instead of promoting them with their solo cyno arts, they are promoted with art that is clearly read as cynonari. This zine is not supposed to contain ship content, so it may be confusing to promote your artists by using ship art. I know some people who didn’t even realize it was a solo Cyno zine bc of that.
Hello, thank you so much for bringing this to our attention! The art that our guest artists use for their spotlights isn't indicative of the content they will produce for the zine. Many of them are ship-focused artists, but still wanted to showcase an artwork featuring Cyno, hence we allowed them to submit ship artworks as well. Their spotlights are not meant to be promotion for the zine, rather introductions of who they are. We didn't want to impose requirements on our guests that might inconvenience them, as in our case, some artists didn't have recent artworks that were not focused on a ship. We will still uphold our no-ship rule in this zine, and hope our audience will continue to hold faith in this zine, despite what the spotlights might have implied.

hi! are there any word count limits for the three samples? or is it just the 15k portfolio limit? (i assume the three samples should be around the zine fic length but i just wanted to check if there were any hard limits or if going a bit under or over would be fine as long as one of them was complete within the range) i also wanted to check if excerpts of pieces were permitted for one of the samples or part of the portfolio?
Hello! There are no word count limits for the individual samples. We have only put a portfolio limit in place, and are okay with any sample lengths as long as one completed piece fits within 2k-3k words. Excerpts are also allowed as a part of the portfolio and samples. Hope this answers your questions!

Hello! We wouldn't immediately disqualify an application if it doesn't have samples from Genshin Impact, since we do believe good writing isn't exclusive to fandoms. While pieces from Genshin would help us understand your grasp on the worldbuilding and characters, you're free to submit a writer application with pieces from other fandoms!

i've read the info doc and i saw something about promoting "harmful" content; why do you care if people enjoy in their free time 100% fictional content? that doesn't harm anyone at all? and especially has nothing to do with the zine's subject; while i understand disliking this kind of content, banning people from joining because they may enjoy it outside the zine is pretty far-fetched :'/ i was excited for a cyno zine
Hello! In this zine, we aim to create a safe space for our contributors and moderators alike, and the guidelines were created with respect to this. Contributors will not be judged on what they do outside of the zine, but are strictly prohibited from creating objectionable material for the zine itself.
That said, we would like to reiterate the fact that we will not be taking action against contributors unless they promote or project hate against real people and communities. We will not be banning contributors for trivial matters, and there will be thorough consideration before such a decision is made. Thank you, and we hope you understand where we're coming from!
