I’ve noticed that on some of your artist contributor announcements, that instead of promoting them with their solo cyno arts, they are promoted with art that is clearly read as cynonari. This zine is not supposed to contain ship content, so it may be confusing to promote your artists by using ship art. I know some people who didn’t even realize it was a solo Cyno zine bc of that.
Hello, thank you so much for bringing this to our attention! The art that our guest artists use for their spotlights isn't indicative of the content they will produce for the zine. Many of them are ship-focused artists, but still wanted to showcase an artwork featuring Cyno, hence we allowed them to submit ship artworks as well. Their spotlights are not meant to be promotion for the zine, rather introductions of who they are. We didn't want to impose requirements on our guests that might inconvenience them, as in our case, some artists didn't have recent artworks that were not focused on a ship. We will still uphold our no-ship rule in this zine, and hope our audience will continue to hold faith in this zine, despite what the spotlights might have implied.
