im highly uncomfortable with communists as whole because id rather not interact with them period rather than be constantly exposed to idealisation of ussr and "maybe if your grandparents were deported far away from their culture and homeland for being muslim in hopes that they starve to death that was on them"

people who lean on the communist side in general tend to ignore how the strive for "society where people are equal" often makes marginalized groups subjected to erasure of either their history or themselves as whole. communism can be a powerful weapon of bigotry and i couldnt be bothered to educate every single kai ☆ he/they ☆ 🇺🇸 on why genocide of my people was, in fact, not very deserved.
