Does Herja have canon weapons she uses?
The Horde Spear is her canon lance and I also consider all her ultimate lances canon...somehow. I worked way too hard o. those for them to not be canon to her lore lmao 🥹 Her other canon weapons are The Dancing Reeds (NIN Bardam's Mettle knives), Eleos (Hades DRK weapon), and of course Zantetsuken. I use to consider her Edenmorn Halberd canon but since we'll be getting ultimate FRU weapons that one be canon instead :,)

Were Herja and Estinien traveling together during Dawntrail or did she only see him the times he shows up in canon?
He traveled ahead of her with their son, Hamignant! He was basically babysitting for most of the expac haha they do see each other outside of his appearances in canon but when they're not together he's always nearby - Herja just wants her favourite boys to be safe and having fun 🥹

what is herja's LEAST favorite type of food
I was actually stumped about this one for a bit since she will literally try anything once and loves food LOL I feel like it's a cop out to say she hates bland food since she actually doesn't mind Archon loaf...I think her least favourite food would be anything too bitter, actually, since she isn't a huge fan of coffee.

Who did Herja tell first when she wanted to leave The Steppe?
She told her brothers she was leaving - they were the only family she had left. The catalyst for her leaving the Steppe was her father dying and her mother figure in Nagxia dying shortly after.

does miss herja ever pick up any jobs besides dragoon and dark knight throughout her story? when did she first pick up a lance?
She does! She dabbled in being a rogue / NIN after she left the Steppe - her mother was a rogue and she carries her knives with her at all times. She picked up the lance pretty early while she was still in the Steppe since she was a natural at it. Some time during ARR she was also a gladiator and participated in tournaments for coin. She's also dabbled in WAR during Stormblood MSQ - her father was a marauder. Her personality fits tanking perfectly so I like to think of her as an omni-tank (something something learns how to imbue GNB bullets for Thancred) even if I myself haven't tanked since...Asphodelos :,) She prefers DRG and DRK since she's best at those.

She has a complex about being short (even if she's max height femra 🥹) and actually likes to stand on stairs, chairs, sits on tables,etc to be as tall as she can when talking to taller people - she's exactly like that meme with the dog on the counter "she likes to feel tall" 🥹 She'll say it's because she's a dragoon and needs to be in high places but really she hates being short 😭 also hello! 💖
