oh. oh boy. ok #1 is miyashita yuu always forever nobody even comes close. he's absolutely insane. sometimes i'm brought to tears just because of how absolutely fantastic his voice is and if you haven't heard any of his songs PLEASE look him up on youtube or spotify and check them out he is so amazing.

but narrowing it down to only two more.....? aina aiba (bandori yukina va) and raychell (bandori rei va) both have incredibly powerful voices that make my heart beat really fast (although maybe that's because i always have to turn the volume up so high that their vocals resonate in my soul?) itouken too omfg all his songs in show by rock. he is PHENOMENAL.... raon lee is definitely among the top contenders; her voice is SO strong and beautiful. ado of course ! chappell roan has a fantastic voice too . . . olivia rodrigo is super fun to listen to.... oh noristry is awesome as well. his 8.32 cover makes me go ?!?!??!?!?!!!!! /pos every time.... and of course i love 96neko.... CRAP this is getting long. and i definitely didn't limit it to 3 um.

in general i love anyone who has a Fun voice to listen to-- like either really versatile and capable of doing unique/interesting things with their voice (like miy_yuu) or just STRONG. like. insane belters. (also like miy_yuu). if you have any recommendations of other singers that fall into either or both categories.... please do let me know...

LOVE <3 usually i see it as more of a one-sided crush on koutarou's part but it's so cute to imagine akito liking him back because koutarou deserves all the happiness in the world. but yeah koutarou is sooo in love with him it's adorable.... chapter 8 of burn my soul makes me so ill i cry every time. also after they surpassed rw i was smiling so hard my face hurt when koutarou started sobbing and launched himself at akito. like of course it was akito that he went to (i know akito said why are you jumping at us like that, implying it was all of them, but it showed koutarou only hugging him so i'll pretend that's how it happened)

also love the idea of koutarou joining the vbs polycule. he deserves SO MUCH LOVE!!!!! four whole partners who love him so dearly!!!!!! again.. chapter 8 of bms... augh

• he really likes sports anime/manga !! haikyuu and blue lock especially. i don't know anything about blue lock but i think he would like tanaka from haikyuu. and iwaizumi. oh and definitely coach ukai. and he would probably have a little crush on kita who said that. he probably also reads some basic shounen stuff like jjk csm etc. but i can't say anything about those bc i know almost nothing about them

• since everyone in the game has an image color it's hard to tell whether said color is their favorite or just the one that represents them; i think it's safe to say akito's favorite color is in fact orange but i think he also likes red a lot

SO TRUE!!! one of my fav vbs duos. love the idea of an bringing out touya's silly side in a way the others can't really do and them kinda being the two Fun And Whimsical ones.. when i think of antouya hanging out i usually think of Shenanigans. touya has fun doing basically whatever if it's something he hasn't tried before and i think an could probably convince him to do dumb stuff if it's exciting enough LOL. sometimes i still think of that one area convo where she's like 'i wonder what sort of things would make you laugh uncontrollably 🤔' and he's like i don't know what you're planning but i don't think i'm going to like it....! she should've followed up on that idc. i wanna see touya laugh more

on a more serious note i'm glad wtwg started to explore their relationship more and dive into their parallels of their feelings towards their partners and methods of dealing with said feelings, which are something i've always noticed but thought wouldn't actually be discussed in canon. despite the many bad decisions the writing team is making, i really hope they'll get more one-on-one interactions in the future :) (that aren't about coffee. or homework) i can't believe it took like. almost 4 years to do so but Oh Well

YES!!!! i'll admit that i'm not totally caught up on mmj (i need to do that.) so i can't make predictions for the story, but based on the event logo (and the teaser now that i'm thinking about it) i'm hoping for flower-themed cards..... haruka's three focus events are all very vibrant and / or cutesy and bright so i'm really hoping for something softer... warmer-toned... pretty and just kind of a Calm atmosphere in comparison to her other ones. i think that would be really lovely. SHE is really lovely. no matter what the cards look like she is guaranteed to look really lovely

also i have high hopes for the song because i like yunosuke a lot... i'm really hyped. praying haruka will have gorgeous high notes (i'm not in love with her i promiGETS BOOED OFF STAGE

OH! one story prediction. haruka confesses her love to mmj and then they all start dating /j

oh they're not a fan unit! they're from a manga series i'm hoping to write someday, called broken record :) i'm currently writing their story in novel form first because it's easier than writing a manga script for me. i created them in.... the end of 2021 but uh. barely worked on them for like 2 years after that. anyway!! their story is pretty simple... just your run-of-the-mill band formation story but with the addition of found family and a safe space where the characters can finally feel loved and heard due to their respective Home Issues..... catharsis in music...... heh. if you don't mind i'm going to dump their backstories and personalities here. feel free to skip over it or whatever i just like yapping

kihaku (the protagonist; vocals + rhythm guitar) lived a really sheltered and lonely life where he didn't have any passions or aspirations until, at age nine, he stumbled across a video of an up-and-coming new band called RADIO🗲STORM. their song resonated with him like nothing else had, and he decided he wanted to become a musician just like that. he found solace in the band and its members as time went on, since he's struggled for years with his parents' constant absence and his lack of friends. he taught himself music theory and how to sing and play the guitar, but never found anyone else to start a band with until high school (which i'll get to later.)

he's soft-spoken and prefers being alone, though he's deeply introspective and reflective and his mind is always nearly bursting with thoughts. he's obsessed with anything music-related and finds it hard to care about anything else, leading others to incorrectly believe he's an unkind and apathetic person (although he is a bit out of touch with general social rules due to being sheltered and friendless for most of his life). he's creative, pragmatic and generally level-headed, and is very confident and driven. he also has a major sweet tooth. and autism. lol

takuto (the guitarist) is the upperclassman kihaku met on his first day of high school; he likes RADIO🗲STORM too, so despite their polar opposite personalities, the two of them hit it off pretty quick. as for his backstory, he comes from a highly gifted family with lots of siblings; they're all high achievers and have extraordinary academic gifts or special talents, and takuto feels like he has nothing. though his family loves him (but is generally less focused on him than the other siblings), he's always felt out of place and thus craves validation and praise from everyone, acting over-friendly and charismatic to make people like him.

despite his heavy insecurities, takuto is naturally sweet, positive, ambitious, and funny. as previously mentioned, due to his intense desire to make friends and be liked by his peers, he’s a total people pleaser, going along with whatever everyone else wants to do and suppressing most of his own opinions. he’s very kind and cares a lot about others’ well-being, making him sort of a mom friend. also he likes stickers and the color green and is kind of a golden retriever

kyoubu (the drummer) is an experienced musician and very cool person, and it took kihaku a lot of effort and a deep dive into his own capacity to make meaningful music to convince her to join the band lol. kyoubu's older brother, enju, is also talented at music, and when he and kyoubu were younger, they were really close; kyoubu is a bit of a difficult person, and her parents never really understood how to raise her (and still don't), but enju seemed to know just how to deal with her and was her best friend. eventually he had to leave for college in another prefecture, but they promised each other that they’d both find a band to join and call each other all the time while he was gone. however, once enju started his own band, it was like he forgot all about kyoubu, which further pushed her into her self-isolating, misanthropic habits.

kyoubu is confident, strong-willed, stubborn, and definitely a lone wolf with anger issues she tries her hardest to keep under control around other people. she's really smart but doesn't exactly have patience for those who aren't (or for most things, really), and thus prefers doing everything by herself. despite this, she's good at reading people and giving advice, and genuinely does care deeply about her friends once she finally has them. she's a voice of reason and wants to help everyone make correct and efficient decisions. and she's a dog person idk why that matters but like.

kurei (the bassist) never liked interacting with other kids his age when he was younger, and he hated school so much that he hardly ever attended classes. The highlight of his life was spending time with his dad, a game designer who worked for a famous rpg company and was working on the newest hit game, hidden universe. his father created a character based off of him, and kurei decided he'd live up to the radiant personality the character had. then, right before his first year of middle school and the year before hidden universe launched, his father was hit by a car and died. his shut-in lifestyle only got worse, and hardly anything brought him joy until he met takuto...... which is another long story and Dang this is already getting crazy long sorry i didn't even realize. to quickly explain that, he and takuto became close friends in kurei's second year of middle school, but when kurei had an emotional episode and said some things that deeply hurt takuto, they went their separate ways and didn't talk to each other until being forced to reconnect following the band's formation.

kurei is blunt, quiet, and usually cold. behind the unfeeling, protective wall he’s built for himself is a gentle, awkward but sensitive and sweet side that he mostly shows to his cats and takuto, who he has a bit of an unhealthy attachment to. kurei is smart, creative, and a great listener, but crumbles under pressure and is prone to anxious meltdowns and drastic mood swings. (he has bpd................... and loves coffee..... and has two cats named sashimi and latte..... and always wears this lightning bolt hairclip takuto got him because the character based off of him from hidden universe is an electricity user....... also he's my favorite of the main 4 but don't tell anyone. shhhhhhhhh)

anyway um. this is so very long and that's just their personalities and backstories and not what happens in the story Uhhh...... in simplest terms: Not A Lot! so far the Plot hasn't been going places...... it's kind of character-driven. mostly around kurei once he gets introduced because i SUCK and want to make everything about him but i'll fix it i promise. someday.

oh also sexualities !! kihaku is aroace kyoubu is an aro lesbian takuto is bi and kurei is a Homosexual

okay i waited forever to answer this because i had to really think about it. he has a ridiculous amount of good ones and they're all so unique and immersive and beautiful that it feels like a disservice to only pick one. (so i picked five of each and it still doesn't seem like enough. honestly every song he's ever put out is my favorite but i'll just pick a handful of ones that come to mind)

ugh trying to choose is so hard. he literally has my very favorite voice(s) in the whole entire world. one time i got a hit tweet for saying something like 'you ever love a singer's voice so much that you feel like you're going to cry even when it's not an emotional song' and yeah that was about miyyuu. im convinced he's like an otherworldly being who's the Vocalist God on another planet and is hiding on earth or something (for legal purposes this is a joke but really there's no other explanation for that freaking insane vocal range and control)
