I'm gonna be honest with you, even if kimisute was a rhythm game it probably won't matter much, in this day and age if you don't put out a quality game then the game won't last very long and clearly the higher ups at bushi don't see argonavis project as a good investment that's why both games are shitty. The only reason they haven't fully axed it yet is that their Live concerts are always successful so I could see them focusing on it more.

i agree that even if they did make a rhythm game with the budget they got it likely wouldn't be great and would fall into a lot of the same issues that aaside did however i just think it's a lot easier to make a passable rhythm game than it is to make a passable produce game. i definitely do think they should just focus on concerts and i'm sure the budget would be better spent on other nongame projects than it was on kimisute, both in terms of return on investment and in fan satisfaction, but we live in the world where they decided to allocate some of that budget to a subpar game that fails at just about everything it was theoretically intended to do instead of being smart and using it to make like, a chibi anime a la garupa pico or something.
