one of my goals for this year is to write a hyuninho fic, but i keep jumping between fics every time i get a new idea… first i had vampire ideas, then i had an idea based on one of my fav horror movies, then i had some random coffee shop au, then i had inspiration from nosferatu and NOW i’m inspired by perverts and about to start a whole new fic because of that… how does one stay focused on an idea long enough to bring it into the world in its full form?? i’m struggling so bad. but i will write hyuninho this year and make you proud i swear!!
ok so ill admit i just started on a new med thats allowing me to LOCK THE FUCK IN lmfaoooo so i really only partially have an answer for this as someone with like 50 wips rn. what i do is write the idea down in my notes app when it comes, even write the scenes if dialogue appears and im like ooooh thats so good get that down get that down- and then... i let it sit. i try to juggle three main projects at most and let others sit on the back burner until I can get those main projects finished. three because: 1. sometimes its good to try and lock in and finish ONE fic. sometimes ill go to a cafe and purposefully not connect to their wifi and have the fic downloaded onto my computer so i can open it in my pages. but sometimes my brain just simply CAN'T do that fic. and thats ok. so i move on to my second fic. 2-3 ideas at once isn't too overwhelming for me and i can switch between them when im making no progress on one without paralysis
2. ur ideas will be there, you dont need to write them IMMEDIATELY. excitement for them might fade but one of the things ive learned is that motivation may go- but great news, it DOES come back. i waited a year juggling whether or not to delete a fic off of ao3 once and im really glad i didn't, because one day at work, its ending came to me, and I finally updated it!

whats ur opinion on lavender scent
you've just opened up pandora's box w this one bc i actually fucking hate lavender im not even joking but LET ME EXPLAIN. i've never been able to smell particularly well (i couldn't like. smell scents at all as a child), and so when i was finally able to kind of smell (really strong scents mostly) lavender was one of the first things i caught a whiff of and i cant fucking stand it LMFAOOOOOO im sure it smells nice but i deadass find it borderline nauseating akjsdmnbfjksadfk

(etc. hyunin, hyunho, minhyang). i am down for a lot of tropes and genres like i love heavy angst... i love MCD... i love horror... but i also like fluff and happy endings so idk there's a lot of room for error here? i generally love a good childhood friends trope, introspective/char study type fics (quick act surprised), lots AD LOTS of cryign... please make those men cry anon... i also like it when they kiss. and dry hump sometimes. a BIG fan of unspoken homoerotic tension/touches. idk... songfics are fun bc i get to see what music ur into!

the way you are talking about it is the same thing as what i was saying in the video where he said that he is a very good person and that he has a good heart but he has a very bad attitude and i think that he has a lot of things that are not true and that he has a bad attitude but he has a really bad personality and i think it is very hard to be a good friend to have and i think you should respect him for that but i don’t know how you feel and you don’t know what you have to be honest with him about it but i feel like you are so much better about it because you have to respect him for him to be able and i think he has a good relationship and i don’t know if you have to be a bad relationship is a lot of people have a lot of things are very hard things are different people have to do you know how to respect each other’s like that makes me know that you have a lot of things that you have no problem and i don’t know what you know that makes me a lot more than that makes you know how to do that is what you have

- early sanullium have a lot to offer in that area! theyre a late 1970s rock band with experimental sound, so it varies from album to album ^^
- kim jungmi’s 1973 now album
- shin joonghyun, but this feels so on the nose lol. its hard to sort through his discography because hes also just kind of on everyone else’s stuff because he was so involved with korea’s music scene back then 😭😭
- jang hyun’s ‘breaking through the fog’ in collaboration with shin joonghyun
- lee junghwa’s 'petals are blowing my heart' in collaboration with shin joonghyun
- I also highly recommend shin joonghyun’s anthologies! he’s got a lot of different artists and voices on them!

you're genuinely one of my favorite writer ever.... the way you convey emotions in your fics never fails to break me and your characterizations make me want to never read another skz fic that isnt yours, all of them are so distinct and fit into their worlds perfectly. AND the pacing and dialogue of your fics never fails to astonish me because of how good it is, all of your fics flow perfectly AND THE DIALOGUE ik i talked about your characterization earlier but that wasnt enough, i need to write an epic about how your dialogue always builds on the characterization you set up. As a reader and a (trying and failing) writer im in awe of how much detail is embedded into your work, ive spent an embarrassing amount of time thinking over your fics and milking meaning out if every sentence, the words use, the structure of it. ALSO, the music recommendations are so GOOD, the movie ones too esp in a pleasant night that doesn't belong (im not much of a movie person but im getting around to watching every piece of media mentioned in the fic). ive been reading your work for about three years and you've only gotten better holy shit. (this is miffy btw. i came to bother you here cuz ive clogged up our dms enough)
