So I was reading some 18c black letter typeface the other day and it hit me that I don't remember if you or Jackson said if you used easy read or default or full historical (long s and digraphs) on Pentiment? I certainly don't fault anyone for useing easy read. (Both for accessibility issues as well as just people with no experience with paleography and historic typeface who don't want to start now. ) Sorry if you covered it. Maybe I just need to listen to the episode again.

Jackson wasn't even on the Pentiment episode of JU because they haven't played it so lol that was definitely me, I used the default I didn't even know the full historical was an option! that's neat.

Have you ever considered using any neo pronouns to describe youself?

Nope, I’m pretty happy with they/them. I am more invested in the dissolution of gender categories than I am establishing my own and I think this does that most effectively, for me.

Curiosity about the game and a chill vibe. You can replace curiosity with exhaustive understanding (see chip & ironicus) but the vibe is REQUIRED

Whats the percentage split between yourself and Jackson for game club/beachhouse picks?

Well beach house has almost always been patron led until this year so 0 percent???? game clubs it’s probably like 60/40 biased to me though that was more of a thing back in the day when we were doing jackson plays the hits catch-up

Do you have any opinions on listening to audiobooks compared to traditional reading?

I don't like it when audiobooks have BGM. That's really it. I'm not a huge audiobook person but I think its a fine way to enjoy some books.

Yeah a few! mostly just messing around with them I think they’re neat if like really obtuse to understand for me with no old computer game background. The color choices are so cool

As one of the few people who watched your LP of FFXIII-2 I gotta know: did you play Lightning Returns and what did you think of it?

I haven’t yet still! I’m probably going to play Stranger of Paradise first but it’s the next game up in my dwindling list of FF to-do’s, though it might not be until after 16

What should I play on the MiSTer? So far I have mostly been playing shmups, puzzle games, and ridge racer but I'd like to branch out a little more

Phantasy Star 2-4. The first game you should pick up the Sega Ages version on Switch. Mega Man X4 is also really good.

What is the appeal to you of Visual Novels?

I like stories? Visual novels are just a good experience hanging out with some characters going through a thing. The formal structure of the form hits a little different than a book or a tv show. A lot of them are bad, some of them are great. Same as anything.
