receiving - acts of service + quality time. acts of service to help lighten his load because hes always stressed and its hard to take care of himself due to the Mental Illnesses™️. i think he'd really appreciate like... me making meals for him so he doesnt forget to eat and brushing his hair for him :'). quality time cuz i think he'd really appreciate some quiet one-on-one moments

giving - honestly bretts a big sweet boy so i think he shows his love in any way he can lmfao but the big ones im feeling for him are words of affirmation (hes so good at being someones hype man), physical touch, and acts of service (he likes to feel needed. hes a good doggy)
receiving - again, words of affirmation (loves praise and would definitely value someone genuinely affirming him instead of just valuing his looks) and physical touch. definitely a huge pda guy that wants to hold hands and cuddle all the time

giving - gifts (hes literally a canon pay pig lmfao) and words of affirmation. he definitely does the ass-kissing corporate insincere compliment shit (think s1e1 when he was talking to reagan in his office... "wow, you are so smart." lmao) but i think he can also do it sincerely... he just doesnt have a lot of people he would be sincere about LOL
receiving - quality time and words of affirmation. again, hes really used to insincere business ass-kissing so i think genuine words of affirmation would really get him right in the heart

receiving - words of affirmation. woody wasnt really considered valuable in any way due to his low intelligence and i feel like he'd have a bit of a complex about people only valuing the helmet and not him (this is the biggest issue i had with the sequel... like cool his love interest really did only love him with the helmet on. and we're all just gonna be okay with this) so i think affirming that hes worth loving even outside of the hyperintelligence would really mean a lot to him
