I see you're having dimastinien thoughts again SO!! being who they are, obviously both dimas and estinien get into some dangerous situations. has there ever been a time where one was afraid for the other's life?? and how did they handle it both during the situation and afterwards??

but yes! dimas in particular was during heavensward when nidhogg possessed estinien’s body. this was fresh off losing ysayle (someone who became his closest friend, he would consider her a sister) and the weight was just too heavy. he didn’t know the effect of it on estinien’s body and it terrified him to no end. he didn’t necessarily handle it well but he recklessly put himself forward to save him.
estinien was the most afraid before shadowbringers when dimas got pulled to the first by exarch. it was literally their first night ~together~ and dimas just collapsed and wouldn’t wake up. it terrified him. estinien didn’t know what to do. those weeks that balder went to and from the source, he always waited for news and it was the only linkshell he ever wanted to listen to.
