Hey, I am currently reading B & S au and I’m now on panel 098 and woah the emotions I’m feeling are intense lol. I am so mad and pissed off by Ocean because her keeping the kids from Terence is really upsetting and also her reasoning behind it is weak/ doesn’t make any sense…and then she decides to give Terence the box and then leaves him hanging which is messed up !!!omg 😭😭😂 I’m mad at myself for getting this frustrated over an au lol. Ocean is really messed up for doing all that to Terence. My heart also goes out to Brie like just imagine how she feels/felt whew!!!
I really am trying to see things from Oceans side but so far she just seems selfish but I could be wrong….
Anyways I’m enjoying the book and thank you so much for sharing it with us!!!

Honestly, I stared at your message for so long, trying to figure out how to answer it properly because, trust me, even I struggled with how to ‘fix’ Ocean’s choices while writing this story 😆. She actually planned to tell Terence about the twins on their 3rd birthday. That’s why she told her cousin (who's dating one of Terence’s friends) to have her boyfriend invite his friends, too. If you remember the early panels, she did try… but her cowardice got the best of her. I know, I know, it looks so messed up 😭.
You’re not wrong for feeling frustrated, but Ocean’s emotions were all over the place, and she made choices she thought were best at the time (even if they weren’t). Plus, she had no idea he was with Brie since they had lost contact. She didn’t want to ruin anything—seeing someone you once loved seemingly happy with another person… I think a lot of people would hesitate too. I know I probably would. And well… Irvin slipped up… and the rest is history...
