Here goes! How do you feel about the Futaba and Goro being half siblings theory?
I'm definitely a fan of the sibling theory! I think it makes a lot of sense in canon and makes for such delicious added angst in their dynamic. I've never written anything with it explicitly because I know opinion can be really fixed on it, but I love reading fic that features them as siblings

cookie! do you have any unpopular persona opinion you want to share?
don't hate me...but i don't really like swap aus that much. actually, its more like im really particular about them? i loooove goro as the leader of the phantom thieves a whole lot, but detective prince akira is always a hard sell for me. i just dont think he slots as easily into the cute celebrity detective role. I always imagine swap akira as a force of chaos, maybe acting as black mask for shido to tear down the system that ruined his life and not caring what happens to him or anyone else in the process. or if he has to be a detective, i think he'd have like a quirky buzzfeed-unsolved esque youtube channel about the phantom thieves and gain notoriety doing that

i’ve been writing a fic and it’s the first one I’ve posted but having people look forward to the next chapter and hearing ppl mention my fic has made me nervous to keep posting (even though I’ve only gotten positive reception), do you have any advice? ;-;
Hey anon! I definitely get how you’re feeling. I’m honestly blown away by how many p5 fans read my little stories, and it honestly gets intimidating sometimes. Towards the end of Daredevil, I was really scared that I was going to blow the ending and let people down. So know that you aren’t alone! For me, it’s just a mental game to combat that stress. Writing fic should be for you, first and foremost! If you’re too worried about how something will be received, try holding off a bit before posting something so you can sit back and be proud of your work and share it when you’re ready. Or, something I often do is send my fics to a trusted friend and get their encouragement before I put my work out there! Feelings on anxiety never quite go away for me, but I hope one of these tips can help you out!

omg, thanks for responding. It’s still in the works but it was gonna be focused on Ann as the leader while she collects the PTs for her team. I really wanted Joker and Akechi to be saturday morning style villains lmaooo. Akira becomes a fifth ranger and comedic angst ensues. Big bad morgana… (i was inspired by hearing the black mask morgana idea) i need to write it so bad

any recommendations for new writers who don't have beta readers? I'm so scared to get one but I also know my creative writing needs work to be good rn... and I have a magical girl AU I wanna write
Hi anon! I’m going 👀 at the idea of a magical girl AU! I’m hardly an expert at writing, but I have some tips for people who are trying to improve! Outlining is a pain, but it does really help, especially if you don’t know where to start or are working on something with multiple chapters, but remember that an outline doesn’t have to look neat and professional! I usually fill mine with inside jokes and even pictures to keep the outlining process more fun! But outlining can be a hard sell, so I think another piece of advice I can give is to read your writing out loud, or, if that’s a little nerve wracking, run it through text to speech and listen to how things flow. Those are just two quick tips I use, but I hope they’re a bit helpful!

Hey Cookie! I’m writing a fic that’s set in the future and Akira is in college. I’m having trouble deciding on what he’s studying though. What kind of occupations do you think fits his character? Thank you for your thoughts!
Hi anon! I’m a big fan personally of Psychology major Akira, just to continue the maruki parallels and because i like to think he’d chose a career where he feels like he’s helping people. However other majors I could def see him as are social work, journalism, or education. That’s just my take though, overall I think he’s be doing something where he can interact with a lot of different people and help them in some way!

so, akira and goro both lived on a town near the ocean!! they are both rival surfers, they have their own count of how many perfect waves they catch (akira is winning by two and goro is bitter about it) however, akira gets an opportunity overseas for college and, yk, has the debate of leaving or not, and goro gets Complicated Feelings (tm)
before akira's deadline, they have "one last duel", and end up on the world of one of akira's "shitty soap operas" (goro's words)
drama ensues

i know a bunch of people have said this to some degree! But your fics have made it so much easier for me to feel comfortable writing fanfiction! I’ve been working on my first longfic like ever and it’s intimidating but really rewarding to see the improvements happen slowly.
