Do you guys think someone complaining about not doing work while clearly not doing it is annoying, or wrong of them? if you saw someone who you knew a) complains about work a lot and b) you never see them do work, would you dislike them for it? just curious
I'm more interested in the psychological reason why that is. From personal experience there are lots of things I know I ought to do but find myself unable to, and the cognitive dissonance gets to a really distressing level when I am confronted with that fact. I suspect there's some subconscious reason for that, and I don't think pointing out the hypocrisy is the solution.
