u mentioned naegiri, so now im wondering- what’re your thoughts on naegami? it reminds me a bit of akeshu, if only because my heart yearns for characters who are extremely smart and kind of assholes. in fact, both byakuya and akechi are entjs. they’ve both done some pretty irredeemable shit to those close to the protagonist, but i think when push comes to shove makoto and akira are quick to forgive and work it out, especially once their respective tsunderes show regret.
I love them A LOT, BUT strictly as platonic and not as a romantic ship. Not sure why, I guess their dynamic just isn't my thing when put in romantic context? And Byakuya just doesn't seem very shippable to me. But I adore their relationship development to bits and I can't describe how much I love Byakuya's clear internal conflict during chapter 5 and how sure he was Makoto couldn't be the culprit and SKJDJT IT'S SO GOOD!! And I've read a lot of fics focused on them during my DR phase but yeah, it is way more fun to me as a strange and awkward but in the end eventually meaningful friendship.
