Anon, listen to me closely. You deserve to be loved and cared for. You deserve to feel seen and heard. Whatever happened to you was a reflection of those people who treated you poorly, not a reflection of you or your worth. They had their own shortcomings that prevented them from seeing you, and adoring the wholly loveable person that you are.
