why don't first loves last (ig both in irl and media trope)

I wouldn't say they never last, but I think it has to do with how we change as we age. We often outgrow each other and that's okay! I love the media trope because when both people have experience love and loss, it just hits so much when they let themselves be vulnerable and fall in love again knowing it could end but giving it a chance anyways.

nothing is calling out to me rn! the way i tend to fall into shows is my neurodivergent brain getting hyperfixated on it, i rarely ever actually intentionally choose shows. they choose me lol! i’m desperate for another this is us/ a million little things kinda show. i have been reading more lately though which has been so lovely <3
