as someone who barely draws but is in a bunch of fandoms you're such an inspo and you make me wanna draw so much more and try to actually draw all the idols i like
the moment you get the inspiration, seize it!!! you wont regret it!! im really really happy to hear i help to inspire you, inspiration to make art that really means something to me is something i struggle to come by, so its really meaningful that at the very least i can inspire the creative energy to draw kpop blorbos in you!! :)

Hai just want u to know I think ur understanding of anatomy and making idols look so much like themselves in a nonrealistic art style, you make them so distinct from each other and enhance traits of theirs that makes me go oh my god yeah that really is so and so, like that's actually so cool and such a sick skill to have dude u might be goated

sometimes i feel myself getting discouraged bc generally people tend to receive idol fanart that leans more towards realism better than whatever the hell i got going on (esp when i rarely ever color my work LOL…), and OCCASIONALLY it does get to me. not TOO BAD, not enough to discourage me in the slightest, but sometimes it does just feel disheartening, so receiving praise that acknowledges the specific efforts i make in terms of my style is incredibly meaningful to me 😭 i literally graduated from an art school w a concentration that had a focus on some 2D concept design (not the kind of stuff you see for large scale live action films—think more like animated tv show production) therefore while this stuff is definitely a passion of mine its also like a dedicated skill set i was honing and am still actively working to refine that i was awarded a degree for 😭 granted the kind of stuff i made back then and even now isn’t necessarily the cream of the crop in terms of industry standard, but that said, its genuinely something that i am very much invested in and specifically dedicate a ton of time and effort towards. i think most of my time spent drawing is literally just practicing and re-doing and redrawing and practicing again how exactly i want to stylize idols’ faces. i am still very much an amateur when it comes to the skills needed to understand precisely how to translate real life human features to character design in a way that’s both appealing and recognizable. so literally the lion’s share of my art is just basically trying to do exactly what you're describing (like genuinely sometimes i can sink two hours alone into just trying to perfect a face LMFAO)
anyways sorry for the long winded reply akfkskf this means a TON to me, i rly want to keep working at it and rly specific praise like this helps SO MUCH you have no idea 😭 thank you friend

isnt it fun??!! 😭😭 i remember the day i drew it i was just feeling rly inspired and i had a rly fun time drawing it, idk what came over me that day (im constantly grasping for inspiration like that again LMFAO) but it was so much fun to think about and do!! maybe one day i’ll bring him back maybe as a warmup doodle or smth 🤔🤔 rly i enjoyed myself so much im not intimidated by the prospect…

sorry this is INSANELY late but THANK YOU 😭😭😭😭 i figured he wouldnt be too hard to draw but i really underestimated just how easy it would be and how fun it could be at times!!! it was def a journey i feel like initially he looked too scary so i dialed that back a lot bc thats not what i wanted 😭😭😭 in the end though he’s def still one of the more fun and memorable members to draw!!! i feel like at least in my art style when you look at him you immediately know/can guess exactly who it is. his features are so iconic!!!

unfortunately i’ve only ever posted my dreamies art to twitter, and twitter’s archive system is literally shit ass, so no, there isnt a good place where it is all easily accessible and aggregated. that said, i’m pretty sure it’s all been posted to only one of my accounts, so if you would like the @ and want to try and go digging around for it that’s fine with me. but i’m sorry, you will definitely have to dig 😭
