i'm crying cause gegos (the ones heavily involved in t/b discourse) siding with gojo ships that also hate geto isn't brand new information. the difference in how they treat and characterise gojo and geto whenever discourse arises speaks volumes (geto is constantly thrown under the bus for and to uplift gojo, they're overly defensive over gojo for things far less deserving compared to geto). they're not really stsg shippers, they're bottom!gojo stans. huge but important difference and i cannot emphasise that enough. geto's a shipping tool for them to wh0r3 out gojo if demonising him, laughing with dudebros he's h1tl3r, validating geto antis and dunking on geto's character when stupid takes like "he was jealous of gojo" "he betrayed gojo" "he hurt gojo the most" (shit stsg antis typically say to drag geto and stsg) resurface every 2 months is anything to go by. but it's ok! geto is evil! gojo is the pinnacle of morality! nuance is out of trend for the #agenda! geto fans need to accept gego is popular because they understand canon better! duh!

also funny the second last anon put two and two together as to why goge is hated and not gego when both are supposed to ship stsg... as in they're supposed to like BOTH characters, yet it's popular in fandom spaces to make your favourite character the 'bottom', so gegos aren't very smart to constantly irrationally single out goge stans as "geto fans"... just telling on themselves at this point. nevermind a lot of known toxic proship gegos are friends with big jjktwt accounts that are supposed to be "antis" (yet say nothing when they openly ship gojo with his students but block goges for the sake of curating their spaces LOL), will self-proclaim themselves as stsg shippers yet continue to either say nothing or enable gojohime and sukugo shippers when spewing vitriol towards geto so long as it's against gojo. goge is hated because geto can't be the one taking dick, either that position is reserved for utahime or it's strictly for gojo in sukugo, nonago etc.
