Thank you for your interest, but unfortunately, we are no longer able to offer spots for animatic applications. You're welcome to apply for the album and merchandise, but please include samples intended for those roles only.

Please provide your three samples with minimal to no editing, so that our mod team can best assess you! However, you're free to include any and all produced samples you desire to show off in your supplementary portfolio.

And for those also looking to show off both their vocal and production skills in their application, we're happy to see it! Please include at least one sample with minimal to no editing on your vocals— all others, including any portfolio, may be produced if you'd like!

While samples with backing tracks are not mandatory, they are highly preferred— even if that's audio playing in the background as you record! Submissions without a backing track will, unfortunately, be graded on stricter requirements due to quality and capability expectations. Yes! As long as our moderation team is able to properly access and review your samples, we have no restrictions on what file types may be submitted for application.

Composers will be writing the music itself, whereas producers will be responsible for mixing and mastering the completed work of the instrumentalists/musicians and vocalists to create the polished song.

Please only link one piece under each sample, and we recommend putting your strongest for any/all skill sets first. However, you may use your portfolio to include additional samples for any additional roles.

For our animators, any genre is perfectly fine! All that we need to see from you is your ability to synchronize visuals to audio, so please submit whatever you feel shows off your skills best!

Skill may be subjective, but we always advise you to select what you feel puts your best foot forward. Music applications will require a minimum of three self-produced and complete music samples, at least one minute in length. If you’ve got more to show off, we’ll be happy to hear it! As a general rule of thumb, portfolios should be easily viewable (not social media, but rather all in one place, with sharing permissions enabled), and should showcase your strengths, range, and experience.

While we do want to focus on rock/pop-rock as our main genre, we're open to other genres as well: softer ballads, metal, pure pop, etc. As long as it's a believable genre for the Gavinners to have dabbled in, we're not ruling it out!

We recommend animation artists provide a minimum 3 to 5 animations (depending on their average length) between 1 and 4 minutes long. At least one must be complete, and must use audio, but not necessarily music.
