is it preferred for vocalists to have backing tracks or perform acapella?
While samples with backing tracks are not mandatory, they are highly preferred— even if that's audio playing in the background as you record! Submissions without a backing track will, unfortunately, be graded on stricter requirements due to quality and capability expectations.
