He almost enjoyed/played around in his fight with Jogo, but NOT with Hanami.
He ripped Hanami apart piece by piece because there was murderous rage in his eyes. He hasn't lost his composure in any fights (talking abt S1) except this one in which Megumi specifically gets hurt. It's real and it's canon.
