I know since ive been in a lot of fandoms since i was like 10 or smth. SO do u think that kind of thing would be possible for the kpop side too?
I think that’s pretty unlikely. Relationships of any kind can be severely detrimental to an idol’s career and popularity, especially in an industry with quick turnover where favorites can easily be replaced. In Korea, there are also certain preconceptions that shield idols from deeper scrutiny when it comes to same-sex relationships, which are even harder to prove. This means fans and the public are less likely to dig into rumors without solid evidence. Given that, I don’t think there's much benefit in having a "beard," and personally, I’ve never heard of it happening.
