what your favorite application specific firmware? like for some nice IoT device, tool, toy, etc

Can't answer, because I am not able to even obtain any (application specific) hardware like Pis... 😩
But - as I want to get a new soldering iron soon, I'd say IronOS. (Also HAS and Flipper Zero's OS (Why is this thing so expensive - like 160$/€))
